They'll be a BATch of those sorta jokes coming along I'd say...
That's because people on this site have a wicket sense of humour. Don't know why: it stumps me! Still, as long as they include a few petit fours, we'll all be happy!
all these puns are making me googly.

Had a "subliminal" comeback for this (inspired by a certain Burnley fan's indiscretion), but it may be a bit over the top for foot.ie :o

Let's hope no-one pays the 'penalty' for these ridiculous puns- that should be our main 'goal' before we get ourselves into a 'corner.'

I dont do the old sleep lark very well recently and last night was particularly bad, was after 3 when got to snooze off and had a nitemare at about 4.30 and couldnt get back to sleep til after 5. Unfortunately had to do an early school run (youngest was heading to Cork to sing in some choir comp) and collect my dad off airport bus so was up from just after 7 so only a few hours of shut eye was had. Now I am absolutely shattered and feel like I could fall asleep standing up, but I cant go to bed as I have to collect said youngest off bus from Cork at about 3.30 in the morn. So if I am not on here or facebook tomorrow, dont panic, I am not dead, I am just sleeping.

Well, my virtual compadre's - I've had an eventful couple of weeks.
I am now the proud parent of 3 boys. My wife recently gave birth to twin boys. Absolutely delighted.
After much deliberation, we have decided to not use the foot.ie endorsed naming combo of "Romulus and Remus".

Boooooooooooooooo!
Afraid so. We took the safer option of "Hercules and Zeus".
Nice.
In that case, heartiest congratulations.
Hopefully neither one is ginger.

If it's anyway possible, could you raise them both to play in defence, and kick with their left foot??

Many thanks, folks.
Rest assured, all of my 3 children will be raised to love the game of football that only allows the use of 2 limbs and will be encouraged to kick with both feet.
Secondly, rest easy - Mr A - I can confirm that the Wolfie houshold is indeed a Ginger free zone.
Phew.
Because ginger kids called Zeus and Hercules would get flipping battered at school.

Hercules might get a bit confused if his brother is also his father.

Oh dear. Damn Greek mythology. I forgot all of those feckers were all related to each other some way or another.
How'd I walk myself into that one????????
We'd best step away from the zany names thing, now. Sleep deprivation has reduced me to a disorientated, emotional wreck.

The other day I got the usual BS nigerian scam email. Thought I'd reply to see if I could get a good yarn from them about the turmoils of some african regime and how I'm the only hope for this money and whatever. Numpties wouldn't even play ball. Just sent me an email asking for account names/numbers and mothers maiden name. I got the same email sent every few hours until I blocked it. I'm a bit disappointed, if your gonna try screw someone out of their bank details, have a little foreplay before ya get down to business!
Oh and I've noticed now any Youtube account is useless until you link it to a Google account. Why?! I know it'd only take a few minutes to make one, but if I have no need for one why can't I continue to use ye olde Hotmail.

Ha ha, actually would have chosen a horse called Kevin coz my biggest ever win was on Hardy Eustace whom I chose coz of my ex bf whose name was Kevin Hardy and he was useless so it sounded like that. Was the first year he won and I collected about 200 quid for my 5euro bet. :D
