So angry at Green Day right now. Why the feck did they have to put their tickets for Marley Park in June on sale Friday? I am stone broke and cant afford to get them and Jake will go nuts. I told him I would bring him to see them again. I hate letting my kids down.

Its in his namesake venue too (middle name is Marley) and it will be just after he has made his confirmation and left Primary School and would be a great comming of age type gift. GRRRRR. I cant take much more of being broke.

Whooohooo. Dont you just love when you check your bank account and there is more money than you thought? Got a Christmas bonus that I didnt expect which just eases the financial pressure a little (by €62 actually) but all helps! Just when I was having a really bad day.

Someone busted open a few beanbags around Monaghan last night. That snow looks so flipping fake.

Am still in shock from something else I saw this morning.......a guy standing waiting for a lift, in the freezing snowy morning, with only a T-shirt on him. Boy he is a hard man.

You so should. What happens if there is a massive fall of snow over the weekend and you cant get anywhere to shop. Disappointed faces in the passinginterest household and you will forever be known as the Grinch.

Our poor ould pet dog has reached the end of the line.

He's deteriorated to the extent that its cruel to prolong it.

Booked into the vets tomorrow to have him put to sleep and head for the great kennel in the sky. :(

Thanks Stevo, Ringo had a great life and he's been loved and well looked after.

My missus was given the dog as a birthday present 16 years ago - so she's been a long time companion.

We bought our first house in 2001 and moved in 2006 and Ringo has been with us all the way.

Our 2 year old son has forged a bond with him also - so I'll have to explain that Ringo has had to go home to his Mammy's house or something along those lines. I'm not too keen on introducing the concept of death to him quite yet.

Great craic I'd say.

Go into the toilets with your laptop and "do some research"

Repeat about 40 times and you won't find the night flying by, mainly due to the exhaustion part. :o

Was back with the folks for the pre Christmas weekend, before travelling to the US yesterday. All nearly went @rse over t!t when the Monday night flight to Luton was cancelled; had to talk the nice Aer Arran people into letting me on to a flight they rated as full for first thing in the morning, and just barely had time to get Christmas presents packed for travel before having to run for the transatlantic job. However, I'm here in sunny warm California now with blades but no razor holder things, only the one pair of trousers, and other scattered missing things, but everybodies presents, and decent weather, and a minimum of added costs by not not having missed the transatlantic flight.

How are things going Pauro? Any joy on the flight front?
