The fact you use the word "whilst" whilst drunk is impressive in itself.

He meant to type 'while'.

Football will descend into chaos if there are demands for replays after every bad decision. Unfair and all as it was we have to take our oil. From a FIFA standpoint: Punish Henry for his cheating, introduce goal line technology and move on.

And it absolutely sickens me to see Fianna Fail trying to score cheap points with this, the dirtbags.

We're just in the eye of the storm - the emotive aspect of it is beginning to recede and perspective is returning (slowly!).

Its a mass media age - Internet forums, 24 hours Sports News Channels, "Text in your comment" etc etc etc.

Hypocritical Indignation has been with us for a very long time. Anyone else remember that whole Catholic Church thing?

Er, the eye of the storm may not mean what you think it means. That, or you're expecting another wave of anger for some reason tomorrow.

Your point, however, is absolutely correct.

You're right - I wrongly emplyed the phrase there.

Although, apparently FIFA are announcing that Ireland are being demoted to 6th Seeds for the Euro's tomorrow. Batton down the hatches!!

I'm not so sure, because our entire Nuclear Program would probably have been so rife with corruption and corner cutting during the Celtic Tiger that when our fearless leader Biffo went to press the big red button it'd come off in his hand, and a little red flag would probably pop out cartoon like from the top of the warhead !!:D:D

Am sorry to hear you hate Sligo so much, coz I think its an ok town. As for us leading exciting lives, it is true! The thread is called "say anthing, what's on your mind" and I funnilly enough was thinking that I was looking forward to a nice weekend in Belfast with 3 of my best mates.

In case you are wondering, it would have been an "exciting" weekend only that while having lunch yesterday afternoon we found out a friend had died. So here's a suggestion for you sweetie, get a life while you have one and dont be such a misery.

I still hate Henry.

Take your feelings for Henry, Buttimer and Hansson and bring them to a factor of 10 and that's the hatred I have for Athlete's Foot, Zayed the Cheat and Kelly the muppet.

Why did we have to lose yesterday.

Tip for you: Stop watching clips from the concert on YouTube on repeat. Your brain should recover in time. :D

I love how Colm Murray overemphasises the French pronunciation of anything on the sports news. Apparently he used to be a French teacher. I just find it hilarious though, compared to the half-arsed attempts every other journalist makes.

Spot on, i've been saying that a while now. It's also hilarious watching him monotonously read the sports until he gets to horse racing, at which point he gets visibly excited.

Soooo frickin gutted right now. Went to get my hair done this morning and the new hairdresser taking over the place walked out after 1 day and they didnt ring me so there was no 1 to do my hair. So I head onto work with hair standing on me thinking will go home and sort it at lunch time.

Enter sexiest man I have seen in years. Aggghhhh!! Why did he pick this morning to come into my office and me looking such a mess. Good job he is bald and is probably just jealous that I have hair rather than thinking mine is a mess.

Thankfully he is coming to the game tonight so will have a chance to make a better impression later.

Fingers crossed that of the other three, one dropped the hand with the happily married panel member, another one started saying how, y'know, Nick Griffin may be a racialist but he's got a lot of good points to make, and the last was Gary Glitter.

Everyday alive is a wonderful day.

Now that I have done my bright and breezy bit I can get back to being grumpy!

Thursday nights are made for drinking dont ya think? Well had a good excuse last night, our first ever International game went off without any hitches and was enjoyed by all. Hard work pays off and makes you feel good. Wow I am not really grumpy at all, maybe its coz its Friday and am going to see Director tonight. Love live music, even if its 2 men beating saucepan lids.

God no, Monday's are miserable enough without a hangover

We had a regular tuesday night drinking session in work before, went on for about two months. Then we realised it was thursday before we felt human again, and were getting sod all done in work and it died.

Never mind all this Thursday is the new Friday lark. If you can't get a lie-in to wear off the hangover, it's not better than any other day...
