While I'm hardly a festival nut I would never have a go/not go call made on a single act. It's different to a concert where you're primarily there for the main event, festivals are about having a good time over the course of a weekend so missing one set because a guy you like pulled out really shouldn't be a killer blow.

I agree that there are plenty more acts that I would like to see but I have seen them before, with the exception of The Drums whom I am going to see in December in the Academy which is much better. I have only missed two Oxegens since they were Witnness so know and love the festival vibe but since am paying for both of us to go and am extremely broke, John Mayer was the only reason I was going and Dylan really wanted to see Eminem and rumour has it he is going to be a no show too.
