TV3s coverage of any sport is awful. they just have this enormous ability to make any game so boring. clare v tipperary couple of weeks ago started off rubbish but it ended entertaining enough. but trevor welsh and nicky english just so monotone. Trevor says, "ah he passes the ball, what do you think of this player's movement nicky?" Nicky English, "oh he's definitely one for the future." They said it 15 times in 70 minutes. they helped my nephew go to sleep.

Got a new pair of specs yesterday, and new lenses put in my old frames, so I now have 2 pairs that I can wear. Noticed a massive scratch in the right lens in my old frame, which renders them unwearable. And it turns out the new pair are too tight, and are pressing into my head. I can't go back to the opticians to get these sorted until Tuesday. Argh!
When are the FAI going to do something about these cowboy opticians!???!

It's all about the wage cap, really. Some companies have been guilty of paying more than they can afford to get the best optometrists. They feel that when people recognise that they have the talent sewn up, they'll dominate the market and return a profit. Other opticians overspend on staff to compensate, which has resulted in the ridiculous situation where Vision Express can't pay their tax bill mere months after coming out of examinership, while the once-proud Specsavers have had to sell their leases on key properties in Dublin. Even Dixon Hempenstall are in trouble after they turned out to have sold their famous Suffolk St offices twice.
I mean, it doesn't help that the wealthy premier British laser surgeons are portrayed as far more glamourous and have taken business away from the once booming Irish optometrists, but they only have themselves to blame for this sort of mismanagement.

Am I misogynast for thiking all female bosses are wenches?
Or am I just unlucky to have never encountered one that could handle both her job and the staff she works with.

The only female boss I've ever worked in the printing industry.... she tended to employ just men based on their looks and didnt get on with her female employees. Makes me wonder how I ever got employed by her then...:)

Get rid of the annoying intro or at least give people the option to skip it.

There was a skip option but somehow we seemed to have mislaid it in our rush to get it online.
As for the replay option, came in handy last night for the launch.
Mystic, wish could join you for that cure but now my work begins again. Looking forward to the FAI dinner tonight though, that should sort me out!

You didn't happen to be watching this before doing the intro by any chance?
Site looks good though. Well done on selling out your stock from your online shop literally overnight:p.

Ha ha. I think we did sell all our shop stock at the game last night! Its something that needs to be changed coz we dont have the stuff in stock but it is available to order!
I didnt do the intro bit, am not that technically minded!

You surprise me, Miss Me, I had you down for being a mistress of technological arts! Sounds like ye had a great night of it all the same, glad to see ye doing well. I was hoping that one of the lads might pick up a souvenier fromt he shop when we're up on the 19th, but seeing as you near enough sold out on stock last night, I suppose I'll just get him to pick up the three points instead.
For other fans of the intro music and the BBC News Theme, this should be a popular remix (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYDkgQc8HYg&NR=1).

I get by but no wizard at it. As for the 3 points, we might let you have 1 but will be gutted if we lose especially, bar the limerick game, we have been playing some great football and banging the goals in.

Usually, when you buy petrol, if you go a cent or two over the amount you meant to pay (say €20.01), they let you off at the till.
I wonder by how many cents you would need to go over the amount for it to be charged?
i've lost all interest:(
In..?
There's a petrol station near Finn Park with a sign saying they charge for going over 3c!
