Such a "Johnny come lately".
I actually joined well before under a different name but just read the forum, making the odd post. Then I joined up with a new username when I started coming here and posting more often. ;)

I hate the FAI.
In my opinion the most political organisation within this country outside of goverment parties. They define stupidity with some of their actions, in particular the womens section of the FAI.:mad::mad:

Especially at roundabouts, and getting it wrong is possibly even more dangerous, it's not that bloody difficult.

Drivers who don't indicate deserve pain.
I find drivers who slow down by going off the accelerator rather than using the break until the last minute worse. Nearly had a few accidents cos of those twáts.

Yeah if memory serves it's considered a far better method of slowing down as it's more gradual, allbeit there are no warning lights.
I hate it when I'm approaching a stop sign/line and the pr!ck turning in cuts across my side:mad:

 You can slow down just as gradually using the break too.

You can slow down just as gradually using the break too.
Having your foot off the accelerator will obviously result in the car coming to a more gradual stop than if pressure is applied to the break as well. Hardly a big deal either way but yeah I'd agree that it's annoying when someone turns at short notice.

I hate it because it's too warm, and the beer is crap, and the footpaths are crap. It's also too warm.

I have also decided to let my hair grow again. Been shaving it weekly on a blade 1 for the past 1 1/2 years. It's thinnish on top but not too bad, I think something decent can be done with it. :)

Reminds me of the time I was away for the weekend with a few of the lads. Just about remembered taking my wallet etc out of my pocket before going into bed. Woke up drunk on Sunday morning and there was no phone in sight. Checked the pockets of my jeans and it wasn't there. Found it in the pocket of my jeans the next day.

Just remember all the stuff you've heard, it's all true!
Relax. Don't go chasing it. Put her at ease. Make her laugh a few times if you can. Plenty of eye contact (not in a stary way though!). Don't be "I, I, I" all the time, but do throw in a few "me too"s where appropriate - it shows you're listening and you have similar interests / experiences. And actually do listen! :)
And remember the 60/40 rule - 60% listening, 40% talking.
