Is it wrong that this cracks me up every time, considering I'm 19 and not 9?

I'm not against the gays as such, but the way I see it.........God created Adam and Eve, he didn't create Adam and Steve!

Gareth: "Hmm?"
David Brent: "We're just doing the ultimate fantasy, we're all doing it."
Gareth: "Two lesbians probably, sisters. I'm just watching."

whats your ideal weekend?
Magicme
19/09/2008, 11:06 AM
Fri night, Mons win, sleep in Saturday, go to hairdressers, out to Indian for dinner, few drinkypoos, catch a gig in Olympia, stagger to offmyface Jacks, recover Sunday on sofa eating cheese puffs and catching up on Eastenders recorded during the week followed by a chick flick. Perfection.

I think the Yanks are going to p*ss away with it and this makes me deeply unhappy. Even more so.
If we don't beat the Youths tonight it's going to put the tin hat on a fairly bad week!

While I'm always giving out about work, I prefer to have something to do rather than the quiet time - I dislike work less when I'm a little bit busy.
We've got a big meeting soon at work and I'm pretty sure there's going to be job losses involved. It was called at short notice, is for all contractors in my department and the details seem deliberately vague.
Oh yeah, and I work for HP.
Fingers crossed!

Best of luck Mr. A, hope you dont become another statistic.
Well I was right. 13 of 30 in our group to go.
Will find out over the course of the day.
Well I'm ok for now, but a bunch of my team are hosed. The rest of us are on notice really, just a matter of time.
Hard to get any work done after a morning like that!

Suppose it's better than being the shock of being let go suddenly.

It could be a lot worse than that. I had a job for life and got bored with it so got another job and worked my way close to the top and it shut down, then went to another job and that shut down as well. Retrained myself as a computer engineer and started work at that it only lasted just over two years.
So in short made redundant from my last three jobs and the way the country is not much chance of getting another one for a while
