Having awful bother getting the analogues on my ps3 controller to work on my laptop, tis the sadest of times
Hang in there dude. This can be a difficult time of year for a lot of people. Controllers fail to work and the fight against crime can seem unwinnable. It's kind of like when the throttle on the Batmobile jams and Batman ends up buried in the side of a mountain. Try to stay positive and keep fighting the good fight.

I have managed to conquer the evil ps3 driver software and can now fight virtual crime. Mr A, your words of encouragement were instrumental in Acornvilla's latest triumph.
Happy Christmas to the foot.ie family. Hope it's a good one and best wishes to you for 2014, if not your soccer teams.

You're a very naughty boy.
In other news I feel quite ill and have to be in work. I really hate leaving my house when sick..

One of those nights where the other half decides to get very drunk, and needs to go home early. Was only starting to enjoy the night too. Damn women.
On another note, I feckin wish the new season would just hurry up. Bored without football to watch.

Had the worst night dealing with Limericks finest in the hotel, on the way home I then slip on ice and faceplanted the road from my bike. Not a great day so far :(

Getting back into practise with the band on Saturday for the first time since my kid was born and it's a great feeling. Starting recording our EP in the coming month or two and hitting the road in the summer for a tour. Feck, I missed this. Can't wait to get going again..really excited by the new songs.

Anyone watch the Super Bowl last night? Completely unexpected result, but brilliant game. What a fantastic sport. Really getting into American football the last few months and it's steadily growing on me.
It'd be grand if they fecking got on with it!
Also- NFL just wouldn't be the cleanest doping wise (http://grantland.com/the-triangle/boooooooooooooom-the-year-of-the-seahawks/):
There are the PEDs, too. Seattle’s had scandals with performance-enhancing drugs for the past few years, so plenty of people think it’s hypocritical to cheer for them now. It’s hard to mention this team without acknowledging the cloud of rumors and accusations and Internet comments that follow them through every success.

The ****ing cassowary!
What's your least favourite animal in the zoo?
Pandas. Stupid, useless feckers that get a frankly astonishing amount of publicity. A couple of years ago news channels carried live coverage of a panda arriving in Scotland by plane- I mean WTF? The only good thing about them is that they seem naturally inclined to bring about their own extinction and I for one welcome that.

With the obvious exception I hope of Ling Wong - the rare chinese Panda that gave birth at San Diego Zoo in the 70's.

Kids - various subspecies.
The Tarquin - obnoxious, knows all the animals by their Latin name by the age of 7. Insists on using them in conversation with random strangers. Usually beaten up by other subspecies. Usually justifiably.
The Shrieking Whirligig – often mistaken for the Tasmanian Devil, this creature causes havoc everywhere. Unable to sit still for longer than 30 seconds. Only settles when head is trapped in railings. Often publicly disowned by its parents.
The Preening Abigail – uninterested in all other animals with the exception of the Preening Josh, a creature often found sporting Bieber-like plumage. Both closely related to the Mall Rat.
The ‘Snot Fair – can be seen moping at the back of the family pack. Most commonly communicates through a series of sighs and OMGs.

Neknominations are fecking annoying, but it makes me angry when people get all upset, and call it dangerous. It's tragic that people have died doing them, but, without wanting to sound callous, they died through their own stupidity. If you down a litre of spirits, or jump into a flooded river, it's not some juvenile internet meme that killed you.

But it is. I mean the Daily Mail said it was the cause.
