If anyone's wondering why I even asked such a question, 'Rock Me Amadeus' was number one in the charts in Ireland when I was born, and so the song gives me an usual feeling.

I'm looking forward to panning out in front of the TV tomorrow with a box of beer. Gonna start at about 1:15 when my buddy gets home from work (cos I don't want feel like a loser drinking on my own) and it's down to Chelsea, Burnley, Bolton, Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Deportivo to keep me entertained. I will have the laptop nearby to check the Fantasy Football and my betslip in my hand, at the moment I'm thinkin a Derby County/Man Utd double. Will hit the town then but I fear the fresh air may have devastating consequences.

I think he thinks that you're just going to watch Gillette Soccer Saturday.
So, you day is like this:
Chelsea v Burnley, 12.45pm, SS1
Bolton v Liverpool, 3.00pm, Setanta Ireland
Man Utd v Arsenal, 5.30pm, SS1
Real Madrid v Deportivo, Some time in the evening, SS2 or 3 most probably.
God you've some life. I might see the end of Real Madrid - Deportivo if I'm lucky, have to be in at work for the rest of the day.

Now we're on the right track. Good life at times alright, I get that whole "work" racket out of the way during the week!!

that reminds me, a few years ago i was driving along the liffey on the northside and there is a small church thing there with a few steps leading up to the door - 3 kids (2 guys, 1 girl) unconscious/sleepy on the steps, one with a needle hanging out of his arm. Shocked me as this was at 3 in the afternoon...

I was on the LUAS in April heading to Tallaght and there was these two miserable girls talking like they were drunk and then next thing one of them brought out cocaine from their pocket and did it right in front of me on public transport. My impression of Dublin wasn't helped by this incident.

The two lads smoking crack in a phonebox was at 10am! Madness. Also saw a teenager sniffing a marker pen on the steps of Ha'penny Bridge shortly afterwards! Amazing how these people indulge in their nasty habits so openly.

Speaking of Tallaght I've never been to a place with such a gap between the rich and the poor.

3 days until my flight to the Gold Coast. Reforestation and hard yakka here I come.. and I've been told that my old job will be there for me when I get back from my travels if I want it. So that's the good news, the bad news being that the work I had lined up in a wildlife reserve, rehab and breeding facility for endangered species has been scrapped. Then there's Bray Wanderers.. only 2 points behind though

I had the weirdest dream last night, where I was the driver of a 'private' train from Dundalk to Monaghan. Didn't know there was a track between those 2 places, but most of the time I kinda had to make my own track. :)

Deomcratic Party of Japan has apparently beaten the ruling Liberal (don't be fooled by that word) Democratic Party by a landslide margin. A great day for Japan and Japanese politics.

If this is a recurring dream , next time stop off and check out MagicMe's bedroom and advise her of a suitable colour.:)

Did you see the Sky interview with him after the game? The interviewer started laying into him a small bit. You wouldn't usually see that style of questioning. :)

The correct answer is of course, Morrissey. Credit to AFI for picking a good track to cover and doing a decent enough job of it. However, as for the My Chemical Romance version...

I got about a minute into it, attempting to give it a chance. But it's a track that should have been strangled at birth. It is the monster that November spawned in the shape of that song.

I don't like when people (foot.ie users more often than not!!) call footballer's by there first name as if they're chummy with them. This is particularly evident with Robbie Keane.
