First defeat and everything is wide open again. Expect to start dropping down now.
The real Rovers won though so I don't care:)
Eventually ran riot in the second half:cool:
I'd take a draw on Tuesday now quicker than you can say football is a funny game..home advantage should be the deciding factor and our bottling tendency in big games at the Fags, Pants, Alberts and lofty in previous seasons..

Are ye jokin'? The treatment table will have to be taken out of storage.
I think you are misremembering there, DP, it was Cobh Ramblers had the reputation as Cobh Hatchetmen. At least they are gone and we'll never see their like again.
Hey lads i'd like to get a team back again. My old one is probably gone so any team will do. Don't know why I left last time because it was a pretty stupid decision
Welcome back prodigal Cici;)

Our mid-season collapse continues...
What a win  :)
We might be on Crimeline though for the timing of it...

beaten again and missed a peno right at the death to equalise, thought i'd get away with a lot more aggression with a S4 ref, obviously not - had to play last hour with 10 men.

That hurt :(
Apologies for any damage caused to the away end in the celebrations...we sort of got carried away with ourselves. :)
We've a serious selection problem now with top form for all but the strikers. All others had form of 16 at least in that game and there's a few in reserve similar.
Interesting next week with GoS playing Burton minus Hertzberg and Sligo looking for a win against Galway..

passinginterest you must have played pressure?
Nup, we did. I remember we did something similar to that in the Lazywell a few seasons ago too

That's pure and utter rapage then!:p
:D
Think it had more to do with a rearguard action finally caving in under our ratings after a red card on 51' and the goalscorer replaced by Folkhammar who was out of position. All our chances came late on and once one went in..

I cannot believe Burts only went 4-5-1 and cautious against us - we were missing our two main men! Seriously dodged a bullet there - that draw could prove invaluable yet, if we manage to avoid a major injury.
3-0..have to try fix in some ME for Melet, Babayaro and Lamy soon.
UCD still second, but lofty should sort that out over the next week and knowing our recent record against the Tree Huggers, may well be top:(

F&#ked over by two direct free kicks again... . I need a really good keeper...that piece of sh!t yesterday was upward form trend about 13 form and put in a 4 performance

Is there any reason why I have an invitation for this league in my Lobby even though I already have a team in this league?

just delete it
First win in 4 attempts over 11 months at home to the Tree Huggers
I'd say dp was throwing stuff at the monitor during his game - an own goal, an injury, a red card and than a late Lilywhites winner  :)

Took a risk tonight by not playing full strength, wanted a bit of match experience for fringe players...it didn't pay off:(.

I'm going to stop checking how UCD are doing. :(
Considered setting up a second account at the time, might still do it.
I should stay the hell away from this, won all three matches while on holidays!

I've put Edward Tone up for sale....thats how desparate I am for a good goalkeeper. Ornberg, upward form trend going into the match had form around 13 or so and put in a 4 performance. Then that Alvarsson piece of sh!t ain't a hole lot better....his last match had form similar to Ornbergs and put in a well below rating performance.

Talk about a dramatic ending. Went 1-0 down in the 91st minute and equalised in the 93rd.
DBS 2-3 Provos
That was close...though there's only been one draw in 17 DBS/Provo meetings. Last three away games: wins at Wexford, Forest and DBS..not bad..
Closing in on the title and to think this side had one foot in Division 1 - if only Ragball had held out a bit longer....UCD aren't out of relegation woods yet

UCD aren't out of relegation woods yet
If their performances don't pick up they could very well be. The ratings against us were pretty low. Even still, we just got by. Still think we could be relegated - Lilywhites and Holidaysong are putting in impressive performances.
Good news though - my keeper finally put in a half decent performance!!
Another good result, but the top five are all going well and it'll be tough to stay in the promotion places.

It was a struggle, but we kept it to two. Big night in the First - top four playing each other. Burts losing to Harps - 92m winner - puts us back top by a point for a couple of days. A tough game for us away to the Fags while Burts have a fading Lilywhites at home should change that. Sligo will drop out of the promotion spots for the first time this season if they lose to Harps at home. Beat them, and if other results go well, they go top again!
GNR have finally started achieving, and leapfrogged Lilywhites with a real drubbing. 8 points in four games suggest they are going to be tough opposition for their next opponents.
Other big results see Athletico Bray go 9 points clear in the Second, with three teams chasing a realistic chance of promotion, though a huge collapse is all that could see Bray fail to win it. No change to the standings though.
In the Primera, it was a good night for the away teams - a good draw for Wexford at the Empress sees them slip into second at the expense of a Lofty's side that fell foul at home to a Pants side that suddenly realised that they actually are not too good to go down, and are now proving that they are potentially too good to go down. UCD's misfortune continues as Landenstown strolled through them in Belfield. This all meant that Holidaysong's first away win of the season was not enough to lift them out of the relegation spots - possibly making their game with Pants the single most important match in the Primera this Tuesday

Just being a bit pedantic but we were 4-2 up after 81 mins, they got their 3rd in the 92nd min
Could somebody post top 4 in the top division please?
You chose to leave the team, its time to move on now i reckon!
