As long as he's not singing that next Tuesday....:o
got a mail about a talented young player but it wont let me give him a chance it wont let me click it and it says:
The player wants an answer at the latest 2007-04-23 otherwise the talented player will try out for another club.
so im still in the time limit..any ideas?
sack a player!
You probably have the player limit reaached which is 20 so what i'd do is if you want the player is: sack one of your current players(go for a sh!te player that plays in a position that you have cover in)
Yopu could try and transfer list a player but you mightn't get him sold by the deadline date for the youth team player

I shat in the nest today boys, could only manage a 1-1 draw away to UCD. But its getting tight lads:
4 Pants AFC 28 15 6 7 57 - 29 28 51
5 Sligo Rovers F.C. 28 14 9 5 49 - 23 26 51
6 Provisional SRFC 28 14 6 8 71 - 45 26 48
7 Flynnys knees 28 15 3 10 59 - 40 19 48
8 UCD AFC 28 13 6 9 58 - 47 11 45
18 goals in the last three home games and the most goals scored all season.. :)
6th would be a terrific finish given our season.....:o

Dunno Sligoman. Lee FC are a tougher team to beat these days, so our last game is far from a foregone conclusion. :o
I'd rather go to Lee FC than Burton Albion though
Just wait till next year when i get a proper run at things...

That's the last time I'm playing with 4 up front!!
dfx, SHUT UP!
Unbeaten at home and finish fifth. After being 11th halfway through and going on a nine game winning run to the end of the season with a lot of players with average form over 10, that's probably the best season we've had. I put forward though that 2 league games a week are played next season - this season was far too long!
Oh and I nearly forgot.....
Thank you very much to Burton Albion, thank you very much, thank you very very very much ;) :D :p
5. Provisional SRFC
6. Sligo Rovers FC

We currently have 4 managers absent 2 weeks and 1 manager has been inactivated due to inactivity. Lads, what's the story with next season, definitely doing 2 games a week but 1 division or 2?
If one of those is fredballs sligoman its because he is in Brazil.
One division worked out well this season methinks. But if you want to add a promotion/relegattion sceneario to give teams lower down something to fight for towards the end of the season then thats good too.

How about 3 small mini leagues as a once off? 15 teams so 5 teams in each league, just a fun mini season kind of?
Could that be turned into knockout...say top teams go through plus best runner up? or something along those lines...

Could that be turned into knockout...say top teams go through plus best runner up? or something along those lines...Unfortunately I don't decide what teams play in which league so couldn't do that. It'd be the top 5 in one league, then 6th-10th and then 10th-15th in the other. That's how the system picks it.

Yep, a CL type format can be done with the side finishing top goes through etc. That's how creating more than one division could work.
Not a bad idea either. The problem with starting a league is that you could have lofty, UCD, Provos and others all in the one league and just the Fags or Sligs in another with not-used sides.

Is anyone else getting ****ed off at trying to sign players and failing?
The following teams have had their manager inactivated since the close season:
Red and Black Army
Phibsboro Raptors
Will it Blend FC
Once Were Wanders
Dundalk FC
Therefore we currently have only 11 teams for next season. Ideally I'd like to have more or if not I'd like an even number of teams at least as otherwise there will always be a team without a game each week.
