Hammered 7-2 by HolidaysongFC despite it being only 3-2 at half time. Keeper was bet from distance and lobbed a couple of times during the game.
Local Derby up next against Galway Maroons.
Bring it on!
I've been pretty bad so far, well to be brutally honest, I've been awful. This is a must win

Forest 0-1 Pants
UCD 3-0 Provos
DBS 1-0 Wexford
Loftys 4-0 Harps
Ragball 3-1 GofS
Was a vital we took the 3 points in that match, coz I doubt we'll pick them up in the next.

Pants AFC - UCD AFC 0 - 3 (0 - 0)
Ragball Rovers - Landenstown Forest 1 - 1 (0 - 0)
Gates of Steel - Loftys Lazy 11 0 - 0 (0 - 0)
Finn Harps FC - Drunk Babysitters 1 - 1 (0 - 1)
Provisional SRFC - Wexford Boys 3 - 0 (1 - 0)
Was all going to plan til Olausson got sent off  .
I predict the title to be wrapped up in record time this season. I'm also thinking, really would a season in the first be THAT bad?

Big win tonight and against 4-5-1. Everybody even the keeper turned up with 9 rating standard. Few more required to stave off relegation at all first; then early enough to play for ME as form is going well. Been good ratings all season, but not points even took 4-3-3 UCD 73 minutes to get past a very young, inexperienced, makeshift defence.
Days like that is why Boyle is going nowhere...

The Maroons are starting kick-start their Div 1 campaign. Two wins, 5 goals, none conceded, and 6 points. Much better than 4 defeats, 1 scored, 16 conceded, and 0 points

Loftys have only lost 1 of their last 22 league games. Nice stats.
4 points against them and I've got the title. A win tomorrow might even do it but I don't want to tempt fate.
An absolute stunning opportunity missed to pick up points at DB on Saturday. 3-4-3, possession dominant, again good ratings, 2v7 chances created and we nearly blew even a point. Story of the season so far. :( When you think you can't do it, he scores in the last minute, Walking in a Davidsson wonderland. :)

This is a pretty good team available in the Golden League job centre. They seem to have a decent amount of money too.

The rules for job centre changed recently which rewards managers who have stayed with their team for a while.

4-1 down with about 10 minutes left - finished 4-4 :D . Still disappointed though, its the kind of match I should be winning at home in fairness. Full on relegation battle could be looming. :o

4-1 down with about 10 minutes left - finished 4-4 .
I was 3-1 up with 8 minutes to go. Presumed the game was over and said "HA, that's what you get for playing very offensive to myself (it's still crap btw :))" and stopped watching. Checked my player ratings- looked pretty good. Checked Loftys, which were also quite good. Checked the pools- joint winner so got my stake back. Checked team of the round- dissappointed Gorka and Schmarz didn't make it for first time. Then went through results and that we ****ing drew because of goals in the 89th and 90th minute. Would have taken a draw before the game but that just feels ****e.
Also presumed that you had been ****ed on DP.:D

Massive win for Pants away tp Provos - it'll matter not a jot if we can't beat them in the return. A respectable placing may actually be within our grasp - ie 3rd or 4th.

GoS 0-3 UCD
Wexford 1-1 Loftys
DBS 2-0 Ragball
Harps 2-0 Forest

4 points from a possible 6 against Patsy's Fags seems like we should finish safely in midtable next up second from bottom Cobh Ramblers and then the lilywhite exiles hopefully 6 points from those two

Noticed that, no playmaker, nobody marked etc. I reckon you'd probably have atleast salvaged a draw had you done your tactics. The possession was evenly split, but you only created two chances - possibly because of no playmaker?
DmanDmythDledge
09/06/2009, 9:57 PM
Yeah would have been a bit more chances (assuming unmarked) as play would go through that player rather than spread around the whole midfield which would include the marked player.
Been a bit quiet in here lately.
Belated happy birthday dfx.
and the default tactic set to offensive while being away from home with one of the more attacking formations didn't help. Only remembered at half nine and was half-expecting 4-0 or so. 8th at the end of the season and a year on the defence/youths will be ok...massive game next week to get that..
Cheers Dman

More of this season left than I thought. Better start getting the youngsters out soon. Caj playing his last game tonight and will be followed by Donegan after we play Provos. Szmarch will then follow after the season update. Bit worried about the lack of youth coming through but will have plenty of money to improve my squad when the season ends. Will probably sell Jesus too.
Di Napoli Di Napoli where art thou Di Napoli..
If a sieve leaked as badly as our defence has been, you'd look for a refund. May be sending us plummeting down the plughole at last.

There is one team without a manager at the moment. You take over one of those teams now and finish off the season with them or take over a new team after the season update. I'd advise taking over an existing team as you can get going straight away and the team will have more money and better players. Follow the instructions on the first post of the thread and you will be sorted.

It was on my lobby page anyway. I'l re-apply now.
EDIT: As you said all teams have managers so it won't let me apply.

I <3 Braidy Boyle.
However we've played better against not-as-good sides and lost

Damn Braiden Boyle to a pit in the bowels of the earth, there to be consumed by endless icey fires of remorse. If ye'd to lose like ye were meant to, we were level on points with you and a slight chance of survival. We now HAVE to win three of the last four games to do so. No chance.
