I think we should look into the possiblilty of moving home to anfield. Although would take a while in getting the smell of the Red****es out of there.
Why Goodison is nicer than anfield id rather stay there than take a step backwards .
It was nice to see the liverpool players wearing black arm bands and giving a minutes silence to the kid murdered in liverpool last week ......oh no wait

They're more spanish or american now than Liverpudlian. Thye would have done that quicker if it had been happened in Spain, the USA or even, London where most of their fans come come from.;)
I see they are planning on leaving 96 seats empty in the new stadium FFS will they ever stop milking that its getting embarressing now will there be 39 empty seats in the away end ??, nearly as embarressing as their managers constant moaning over macherano fixtures kick off times penalties pressuring the refs bla bla bla will the clown ever shut up , he hasnt been funny since Phoenix nights

I was racking my brain trying to think what tragedy Everton had suffered to say they leave so many free seats at their home games? Any ideas?
Some people on this thread need to get a life. Football is football and what happened to that lad is far too serious to be used as a target for slagging between reds and blues.
Just a quick note about Neville. After watching him on Saturday & today, the way he has conducted himself as team captain towards the Rhys Jones murder, I think he is due a lot of credit, he could have taken a back seat on this & let one of the scousers like Stubbs or Hibbert take the lead & organise things, after the stick him & his brother have taken over the years from blue & reds fans who would have blamed him
Now, back to football gents, leave the low life chants to the bellends. You have conducted yourselves far too well to this point to sink to their level.
On a side note, the 96 seats idea by the club is an awful idea. It smells of the RTK morons. It will/should never happen.

Alot of our lot seem to be losing the run of themselves after the away performance last weekend. Truth is Sunderland are a poor outfit. Easy win but it was against a pathetic PL side. Only saw the highlights of the Everton game so cant really comment.
PS: The number of GAA jerseys (disrespectful idiots) at the SOL is something you have to see to believe according to the Liverpool fans I know who went to the game.

We were Lucky second best for a long period of the game and lacked something in the middle of the pitch. Everton made a major mistake trying to get Manny on the cheap now they have apid the price. But really looking forward to getting back over to Goodison for my first match of the season.
Very lucky they didnt deserve anything from the game embarressing performance , what the hell happened to the team that had started the season playing the ball on the ground . With AJ and faddy upfront you have prob the shortest lightest striker force in the prem marked by the 6 ft 5 giant Samba and yet hibbert neville stubbs kept hitting balls up for them to contest in the air !!! . At least baines played it on the ground one of the few times we passed it on the ground we scored .
Moyes f**ked up badly starting hibbert stubbs neville and osman . we looked better when the stubbs and hibbert came off osman cant play in physical games like that he should have put in jags from the start .
Arteta our best player was taken out of the game not by close markign by blackburn but by rubbish tactics from everton lobbing the ball over him time and time again , he needed to be moved into the centre when carsley went off and push ossy outside .
Loosing manny has me furious 7 1/2 months they had to sign him and they messed it up .

They had the signing wrapped up but a better club came in with an offer. If you were fernandes, who would you sign for? Valencia or Everton? There's just no comparison, so Valencia it is.......

Z Cars theme tune will be played tonight at Anfield in honour of 11-year-old Rhys prior to tonight's Champions League clash with Toulouse.
This has been agreed as an appropriate gesture with the family of the youngster.

just wondering why you are calling those wearing GAA jerseys 'disrespectful idiots'????
what makes them any different than those who go abroad every second week to support a team to whom their is no logical connection?

I dont understand the first bit about it being disrespectfull but the rest makes sense , it would be like wearing a chelsea jersey to a cork v kerry match

I can see why you say that but I can assure you that the club have been very careful on this one. Everything was double checked will all parties.

Yip fair play to the reds that was nice for the Jones's last night .
Now at last Yak signs
http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/blues-sign-yakubu.html
still need a player with some class in the centre of the park , which is why i think Arteta should be in the middle .

Good to have the Yak on board. We're linked with Stephen Appaih today, it's going to take a signing of that class to make me forget about fernandes :-(

Yakubu has a pretty impressive goalscoring record in the Premiership. Second best over the last four seasons after Thierry Henry. Not bad for someone who played at Portsmouth, who struggled at the time, and Boro.

I think you're being a bit harsh there - it was their first home game since the little boy was killed.
Sorry about that - the next time I see something I don't agree with I'll be sure to check all your other subsequent posts just in case you've since changed your mind ;)

6-0. Dont read too much into it. Derby were without doubt the poorest PL side I have ever seen play. Everton pull off a win, "jammy" was how it was described to me but I didnt see the game so I cannot comment.

Big game this weekend Carsley is going to be shattered after chasing around for ireland , Tommy grav is out for 3 weeks cahill still out so we will be light in the middle and Howard disslocated his finger . i think we will line up like this
Howard ( if he can play )
Hibbert yobo lescott Baines
Artetta Neville Jags Piennar
AJ YAK
Allthough Mcfadden is in great form scored 2 for scotland in last 2 games and 1 for us in 2 games , he has to be pushing for a place .
Id like to see Neville pushed to right back Artetta pushed into the middle and osman on the right or maybe even push AJ out right and give Faddy his start .
Hard game great if we got something out of it but i think Utd will be too strong

Tough game for the blue half alright but if they continue their pre-international break form and prevent Neville from handing the mancs a silly goal or 2, then they will most definitely get something from the game.
The mighty reds are off down to Pompey for an early kick-off. Fratten Park is the kind of ground where we have struggled in the past but on current form we should grind out a result, 1-2 win is my call.

Was annoyed when I saw Rafa's team selection. Considering the league is the "top priority", leaving Gerrard and Torres on the bench in what is a difficult and traditionally difficult in our case, on the bench was very frustrating.
I know all about resting players etc but it's September ffs. There will be easier games to rest players in.

Dissapointing result on sat felt we matched them for most of the game and they where there for the taking. Felt scholes should have been sent off 2 nasty fouls and throwing the ball away only got booked for throwing the ball away .Felt the dissaloud goal was harsh too both players jumped together.
At least ronaldo got booked for diving
Still if they play like that every week they will do ok

Johnson missed two penalties, worthy of a big :D you'll agree.
Kick off was delayed last night due to problems with the turnstiles. Another attempt by Everton football club to extended their run in Europe.
On the field, the will have no-one to blame if they go out other than themselves. The ref was very much in their favour.
Colin Murray was doing his absolute best not too burst out laughing.
"Ever-ton (ha ha ha ha), Ever-ton (ha ha ha ha). We're all laughing at Ever-ton".

Whole game was a joke 30 min delayed kick off the crowd was flat the players uninterested bad tactics by moyes with 3 in midfield consisting of Carsley neville and osman Rubbish!! 3 up front could do nothing any time they got the ball there backs where to goal and they had no midfield to lay it off to . Neville is the biggest waste of space ive ever seen on the pitch he is ment to be the captain when the other team goes down to ten men you move the ball around tire them out and use the extra man to create space yet he lumped ball after ball into the box giving it back to them never mind when they went down to 9 men !!!!!! They could have won 1-2 as well they had a great chance where the ball rolled across an open goal .
The penalty thing was a joke but no excuse , the first one was dissaloud for encroachment an everton player had his foot in the box when AJ hit the ball !!!!( but the 7 Metalist players in the box are ok) The ref spent 5 mins messing around booking players sending them off getting people out of the box getting it retaken that AJ lost the head . He should have known this and given the 3rd!!! penalty to some one else.
Complete and utter sh1te out of the comp before we even got into it & this time and there is no excuse like we got beaten by a good team this time. they are poor enough they will shut up shop over there and everton will prob get caught chasing the game and loose 1 or 2 nil .
Showed again how much Artetta is needed in the team and how if he is injured or the other team can keep him quite we have no other options
I never thought id say it again but we needed graveson in there last night thats how bad they where in midfiled .
Only possitives James Blunt in goals looked good finally have 2 good keepers , Baines was brilliant again yobo and lescott where really solid thats it oh and i has Lescott backed at 25-1 for first goal scorer only had 2 quid on it but it takes my winnings for this season up to over 800 euro and its only september !!

Yea i am got a nasty little carling cup trip to sheffield wensday on wensday night . Either get things back on track or loose and make it worse !!.
HAve to get neville out of central midfield he is really letting the team down he does try, he just isnt good enough . they should put Carsley ( or Jags) in the middle to break up play and artetta beside him to offer some creativity and osman and pienaar out wide on the wings .
Seems like some reds were up to no good. The fact that the info is from "an insider" has me convinced we are guilty (NOT!)

A survey of English football fans revealed what Reds supporters have known all along - Anfield has the best atmosphere in Europe.
The poll, conducted by property consultants Drivers Jonas Sport, ranked Liverpool's famous stadium ahead of the likes of Real Madrid's Bernabeu and Barcelona's Nou Camp, which was the highest-placed side from mainland Europe in fifth place.
Celtic's Parkhead came second while Portsmouth's Fratton Park was a surprise third.

Back in action what a difference Artetta makes , much better performance out of the blues passed it well another clean sheet and lescott first goalscorer at 25-1 made the win even sweeter picking up 130 euro this morning .:D . he has won me over 200 euro this week and pushes this years winning over the 1000 euro mark . Not bad from a 20 euro start !! a grand taken out and still have 35 in the account .

...Christ I envy you. I am having an absolute shocker this season! Down €100 already...this has never happened to me before.
Most of my betting is done on Champions league doubles/trebles. I absolutely cleaned up on them last season. Hopefully, this will be where i pull it back in the coming weeks:o
