Get over it, it's one bad decision.

If it was one bad decision, you could. But this is the third time in 3 weeks, after another pen was given at Feyenoord for our defender heading the ball out for a corner.:mad:

Ref's standards are slipping.

No all that is happening is liverpool are getting the same treatment all the other clubs have to put up with last year everton had 13 penalty's turned down , of which Kieth Hackett said 10 should have been given and no one got banned or even repremanded .

Yet liverpool have one dodgy peno go against them and the poor ref gets banned for a week and still pool fans are moaning, get over it what difference will it make anyway , just be glad you took a point of chelsea and get on with it

You're talking about a friendly here, wait until a bad refereeing decision costs you a place in the Champions League group stages and come back to me.

I don't recall many Liverpool fans complaining last week after Gerrard had "won" a free kick against Villa

To quote your good self, "Get over it, it's one bad decision". It was thanks to us that UEFA allowed you to play in the tournament that season.

oh if that was true, ask the referee's chief Keith Hackett who said that we were entitled to 8 (i think) penalties last season that were turned down while the media decided to try and paint AJ as some sort of diver.

And it wasn't UEFA that allowed us to compete, we finished 4th and qualified. The rules were bent to allow the team that finished 5th that season to enter the competition.

I don't think the issue would have been heard of again, if he hadn't scored, somehow.

And yes, it was a free-kick, btw.

Same as I don't think Liverpool would be that bothered about the penalty if Lampard had missed and they had won 1-0???

The penalty issue was raised immmediately by the media and the football powers. If the penalty was saved, the awarding of it would still have to be questioned because it was a ridiculous decision.

Dont get me started on AJ, 8 penalities yeah right. His blatant dives were there for all to see.

That's total crap, name one penalty last season that AJ dived to win? Cos i name at least 5 off the top of my head that he should have had but didn't. Even the referee's chief Keith Hackett said the same when he came out and publicly said that everton and AJ in particular had been hard done by in 8 (i think) penalty incidents

How many did you win last year?

Benitez must be getting worried, about exhausting his moans and excuses about a lack of funds, he had to come up with something different i suppose

Doesn't mention the rules being bent (yet again) for Mascherano to complete his deal after the transfer deadline. As for the Tevez comparasion, what planet is he on??!?!?

What's worse is that Liverpool fans actually believe this!! Just wait until the weekend and see how many are complaing about the way their fixtures are!!!

Dont make me laugh! We lost the CL final the biggest cup final in world football. Tell me when is the last time Everton actually made it to a cup final? I wont even ask about European football. We all know about your pathetic record in Europe.

I don't see him or anybody else at Liverpool turning down Sky's money though. Sky pumps enough money into football now that it almost runs it and if it suited sky and they thought they would get an audience, games would kick off at 3 o'clock on a monday morning.

No shame in losing to Milan in a final.

We have won the european cup 5 times, making us one of the most successful clubs in European football, the most successful British club by a country mile and as a result we have shed an unbelieveable amount of positivity on English football.

Everton on the other hand, got knocked out first time round in both european cups.

As everyone knows there are 10,000 seats classed as restricted view at Goodison hence the move being so important . So selling out every seat in the ground would be a miracle I don’t think anyone know matter how big a fan would pay to go see the back of a pillar .( cue all the jokes about it being more interesting than whats on the pitch :D)

I don't see him or anybody else at Liverpool turning down Sky's money though.

You don't see us, because we have no choice. Sky have 4 packages to decide when they want games on. They cherry-pick their games throughout the season, the clubs have no say on the ko times. Same as the tv companies do here. It's gone that way in France now, and in Spain.

The Bundesliga is the fairest when it comes to ko times. Everyone is treated equally by ARD. Most games kick off simultaneously on Saturday afternoons.

You can't argue with Yakubu's goal record. He can be a bit lazy at times but AJ does the work of two men anyway so that will make up for him!! We need to be a bit clinical in front of goal and hopefully Yakubu is the man to do it. I really hope this works out because I have a feeling that Moyes' entire reputation will rest on his shoulders.

Still no official confirmation of the Fernandes deal, I've had everything crossed for the last week hoping that this will come off. I really think this could be one of the biggest signings in our history. Hopefully there will be a press conference with the two before the weekend.

We have agreed money with benfica 6mill he has passed his medical and agreed terms , we are awaiting international clearance and it will take time to sort the 3rd party ownership out we are trying to buy the other half from the same guy involved with Tevez . I expect a dual unvailing soon .

Hopefully YAk is ready for sat with AJ and vic having knocks and faddy unfit he would be a welcome sight lining up v blackburn . Think the most important thing he brings is someone just to hammer the ball home we do a lot of fannying around at times trying to get AJ in .

And both are the probably the same distance from Liverpool as Kirby, you can't have it both ways.

Alan Stubbs and Leighton Baines are both from Kirby, they are both as scouse as they come.

It's stupid anyway, would you argue that somebody from Tallaght is not from Dublin because they are outside the city centre?

Location is not the reason that I would argue against the move

Hypothetical question : If Everton actually won something (carling cup, Intertoto cup something like that), where would the open-top bus celebrations be held?

Well untill they move the bounds out again like the boundry commision has recomended .

Anyway i Support everton not the city it doesnt matter to me where they play , ask UTD fans does it matter to them that there not in the city . Does it really matter to Liverpool fans the majority of who arent from liverpool that they are located in liverpool it seems strange people not from the city would care , did the fans care when anfield was outside the bounds ?? i wouldnt think so .

Will Everton fans mind when they move to a new 400 acre site with brand new pubs restaurants hotels shops tons of car parking and having the stadium that is the best served by public transport in the mid west.

Where will the bus go? at the moment it would go city centre - everton valley - goodison i would presume after 2010 prop city centre- everton vally and head on out to the stadium

I think they were expecting it to get turned down at the first time of asking but the appeal should be accepted on Wednesday on the basis that he has played in the top flight for 5 years.

The fernandes thing is a joke, it doesn't matter how much we spend on a striker if we have no midfield to supply him with chances (apart from arteta obviously). He should have been signed months ago, even still he has been in Liverpool for the last week, training at Bellefield and was at the game on Saturday, how have we f*cked this one up, a joke
