Alan Keane failed fitness test today (injured in training yesterday) and will be out tonight.
Reckon we're gonna lose by at least 2, but I'm never really confident before games anyway.

Sligoman ye were honestly the better team the last day. Take that from a neutral, nothing to fear, and definitely capable of scoring but you need to take your chances not like last week or like rovers over the 2 legs v copenhagen.

Don't think you'll lose. A score draw would be a total sickener but it's quite likely.
I've seen Vorskla play 3 times in the last couple of weeks - most recently against Karpaty on Sunday - and they can be beaten - they're especially weak from crosses and corners, rubbish keeper and dodgy centre halves.
I'd love to be up there at the match anyway. Sligo are the best team in the league now and deserve to go through - just hope they're getting paid enough in bonuses!
Best of luck.

Oops..didn't realise I was being rude there, rhymed with Pats
Yeah the word you posted means gowl, goother, flange, minge...I wonder if these will get censored?
...seems not...Gee, maybe we need a more hibernophonic swear filter?

Or nun's habit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pippa_Passes#.22A_distressing_blunder.22), which isn't rude at all. So I'll assume that's what he meant and won't infract. :)

I'm thinking a score draw for Sligo today. Hopefully it's a home win though!

Any idea if the game will be streamed online?
DannyInvincible

Yeah, I think a Sligo fan will be streaming it here: http://www.ciarancarty.com/?p=66
Someone also mentioned that Ukrainian television channel, "TV5", have brought cameras over to the Showgrounds, but there's no indication that the game will be on Ukrainian television from what I can make out. There isn't actually any such channel as "TV5"; I'm assuming the poster must have meant 5 Kanal and possibly they're just bringing cameras to record for highlights anyway as they've no live coverage pencilled into their schedule.

Just realising that is broadcasting live already. Looks like a good quality stream.

Best of luck to Sligo Rovers and St Pats tonight. Its been wonderful following St Pats so far and I'm looking forward to the commentary this evening from Richmond Park.
I don't know the result of the Shamrock Rovers v FC Copenhagen tie. Basically I knew I couldn't watch it live here so I said I would watch it on RTE Player on Weds night. But its not made it on there and I don't think I will. Does anybody know where I might get the game so I can watch it. I'm aware listening to St Pats commentary tonight I'm likely to find out the score anyhow. Sad but I was looking forward to sitting back and watching the game from Tallaght.
Any help appreciated.

Thanks for that. That explains why I haven't been able to see it. Unfortunately its not viewable outside Ireland. Unless anybody knows how I might hide my IP just to watch it. Came home so I could watch it before the games tonight. Thanks for your why I couldn't see it.

If you're up for a bit of fiddling, you can follow the instructions in this video, except replacing UK with Ireland: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWo4727wWtI
Vorskla putting a lot of pressure on early doors. Sligo very nervous when they do get the ball.

********. Missed the first as the phone went in the other room. Didn't even realise it was already 1-0 when I got back. Awful. Sligo have been very poor. Not at the races at all and can barely string more than two passes together.
Over 4,200 viewing the online stream though, if there are any positives to be taken from this...
The league's hopes of having two clubs in the next round now rest on a group of players who are 2-0 down from their first leg and didn't even want to play their game this morning. Grim.

Why aren't Irish players more intelligent and roll around on the ground more? I mean, surely they know how to play European football by now!

Out of the last 5 games, LOI teams have gotten only one draw. I know it's a step up in class, but I'd be disappointed with the performances at home by both Rovers.

Poor result looked very unsure and rushed.
The experience will stand to them though. You just cant lose 2 goals so early.
