pike should get the 3 points.
how can a team disrupt a game like that and get away with a straight replay ??
it hppened a few years ago between pike and park, park were 3-1 up and pike some some dodgy decisions and two park players abused the ref got sent off and continued the same. the match abandoned and pike got the points.
if the wembly match was mid season most would expect pike to get the 3 points. it is not balla's fault, it is no pike's fault either. the conduct of wembly was disgraceful and they need to be punished. If you deduct points from them next season then you are only giving the teams around them an advantage. if the ldmc give a replay then you all know that you can get a match abandoned if it is not going well and get a replay !

if the match was at any other stage of the season, pike would be guaranteed 3 points.. how can you change the rules just because its near the end of the season??? thats plain ridiculous - yet, its almost guaranteed to be a replay cos the ldmc haven't the balls to give pike the points....
also wembley will surely be docked points for their behaviour?? how can you get away scot free with treating a ref like that [no matter how bad he was] and also then earn yerselves a match replay?? comical stuff

one result never relegates or wins antone anything,if a team is,nt consistent enough over a season then they do,nt deserve anything, also abbey were atrocious that year and deserved to go down
Two pike members over abbey that year walsh nd holly never forget that when we played pike some players were rested ''for the matches that counted'' where as fairview balla nd the likes were there for the taken abbey were a lot better than the position they finished they should have stuck with the manager that got them there oh nd those points were the difference alright

If Wembley were deducted points that would throw them into relegation territory no?

Also Balla can't object to the outcome of the LDMC's decision only Pike and Wembley may do so.

dalegend do you ever have something to say that doesn't involve a pop at Pike, your some man for a bitter grudge..

fairness!!!!!!!!!!!! ha ha, when did the LDMC ever care about that???

So its ok to hold off on some teams to play at the samer time "in the interest of fairness" but yet the LDMC make Star play all the remaining games before anyone else!!!!

I'm not having a dig at you pal, just doesn't make sense.

I think divisional cups should be played off in the first 2 weeks at the start of the season,
It would give all managers a chance to look at new signings and also to try a few different ideas (ie; formation's, different players in different postions).
So for example (as is the case every August) all clubs would have HUGE squads to start the season with, the 1st round could be played on a Tuesday evening (as the bright evenings are still available), the 4 quarter finals on the Sunday, the 2 semis on the following Tuesday, and the final on the Sunday (all within 2 weeks, and before the end of August, or you could keep the final for later in the season).........Then come the start of September, the league commences....

This would suit clubs (as the divisional cup is out of the way), managers (as the get a chance to see new players (rather than chancing new players in important league games), and players (as it would build up their fitness for the start of the league campaign).........Just a thought, what do ye think????

A minor side by all accounts?fairview were missin players due to injury, work commitments, and the fact that its the middle of june and theyre entitled to summer holidays. Would you prefer if fairview didnt field a team at all????and by the way Bobby Tier and Shane Byrnes were the only two minors playin-when did two players constitute a team?

Relax serious no need to be so serious!
I was clearly being sarcastic after some fools were calling for
teams to be relegated because they lost a game.
I heard they had a combination of a youth team/subs team out with no
subs or manager. I stand corrected serious as you are clearly a
view man.

We'll see. I probably will do the top 3 divisions, as I did this season.
In fairness its the only place you can get up to date table, fixtures and results.
If one person from every club would post their own clubs results on each thread, soon after the final whistle, then it would make it a lot easier for me.

In fairness to Pat Sheehan and the boys in the Limerick Leader, they've been keeping a fairly consistent table up to date in the paper.

LDMC came to the decision tonight to replay the match this Thursday(6.45),no visible punishment for Wembley whatsoever. Meaning Pike will be left with the Referee's bill again for the match on Thursday.

Crying shame if you ask me. Pretty much means any club can get a game abandoned and be almost guaranteed at worst a reply the following week. Since they've just reset the precedent once again.

So Pike to play this Thursday and Sunday, pretty much a League final and cup final..

Of the 4 you didnt name from my list......
1) John Collopy has more FAI and Prem medals than you can dream about having.
2) John Barry is playing regularly at the Boro.
3) Thomas Butler is scoring and playing regularly with Carew.
4) Pa Barry is on the verge of a move to a top 4 Prem side.
