And whats a really supporter?
And I can see how me saying we had a strong bench makes me not a supporter...Fact is it was a strong bench end of story.Disgrace to the club? How so?I post on a forum with about 10 active people, most of who talk nonsense 24/7,and who claim to know "All" about junior soccer..You can see why Pike struggled to get board members for the committee last season with the likes of silvercircle around..

Yeah the game will definitely be going ahead. the pitch got a bit cut up last sunday but not too badly. should be a good game, we badly need a win!

It's the comments about Portmarnock that annoy people..it's your arrogance is the problem.
I'm think we will win on Sunday..because of our panel and we are at home!!!!Dublin sides do not travel well...that said, when is the last time you saw Portmarnock play..I haven't for years, and I doubt if you even have.

i have seen portmarnock this year and they are definitely not as good as they used to be, i havent seen pike this year but i did last year and it appears that the team is relatively the same if not stronger, going with that albeit limited information i would hold pike as favourites, but portmarnock do have some quality player notably robbie coombes who would be known to quite a few in limerck, austin hannon and adrian mcdonald would be other players who would get into most junior teams in this country. ill be tipping pike but i would be pleasantly surprised if i get it wrong.

We are playing a team from Inishowen which technically is Co.Donegal and roughly 60miles past Donegal (you couldn't go any further on the Irish map), and it will take around 7 hours (not including a stop over) to get there, so we are travelling Saturday morning and hope to get there around 7-8pm, staying overnight in Moville itself and match kicks off at 1230 Sunday afternoon.

Yeah we are, game was originally down for a 2pm kick off, and we treid to get a noon kick off, so we could get back on the road asap, to get home, but the ref assigned for the game could only make a 12.30 kick off. So 12.30 it is.

Glendale you are incorrect, Rob Coombes has played every game bar 1 for us this season, and the game he missed was to give him a rest as he had played a Colleges game and an Oscar Traynor friendly the previous Tuesday and Thursday.
To the person asking about Barry Flynn, yes he is still going strong.
To "inexile" - good insight and accurate assessment of our team. Stan and Ado will be delighted you gave them a mention!
Green Hoop - thanks for the added motivation, your comments will be printed and passed around to all the lads on the coach on Sunday morning.
Looking forward to a good game against Pike, a great club with superb history and pedigree, great example to all Junior Clubs. see you sunday lads :ball:

why thank you dr mad, ye have a good side all the same i just dont want to talk you up too much cos then pike will have a bit of warning, im sure they will be happy they got a mention alright but credit where credit is due, 2 very good players. i think pikes pitch could suit ye, i think the pitch in portmarnock hinders ye due to the sea wind coming in

Well we've a very young team and are re-building right now so we're delighted just to have made it this far, the trip to Pike will be a great experience for the young lads. Pike are massive favourites as Green Hoop has said. Hopefully we can keep the defeat down to 3 or 4 nil and put in a good account of ourselves. As it happens Coombes will be away at a wedding and Stan is injured right now (broken finger) as is Flynn, but we have drafted in a couple of good lads from the Under 18s to take their places and fingers crossed they will be ok.

Pike should perform well, mostly do against out of town teams,Limerick teams get up on there high horse as its one of there BIG games of the season playing Pike, people seemingly hate winning teams, look at Man Utd,were hated for years until chelsea come along, now its ABC(anyone but chelsea) So out of town teams represent a different challange for Pike,a regular game if you will(for want of a better phrase)...I know many(all 10 people using the forum) will disagree with the above as usual..And claim I'm not from Pike...pity they're mostly new recruits to pike...

well if it really interests you I've played with Pike at every level since under 12's and have a few of the smaller local cup medals under my belt.
Unlike you I can remember when we weren't the world beaters you seem to think we are having actually played in those teams.
