If so he is dual, and I think his dad was pro Ireland fairly publicly around the time they won it.

Was James Shea the luton keepers eligibility ever established? Played all games this season after getting in to Side in last few months of season last season when they got promoted. 27 years old but we are chronically short of keepers

Yeah think you are spot on here. I think he is likely to be one who comes on board for us as he gets older

I don't know that we are short of keepers (numerically anyway) - we still have two quality Championship keepers with some Premier League experience (Randolph and Westwood), a talented reserve Premier League keeper, whose career has just been badly hampered by injury (Elliot), another decent Championship keeper who just needs more first-team action (Henderson) and an SPL keeper (Doyle). That said, while these lads are good or even very good, it's important for a small-ish footballing nation such as ourselves to have an outstanding keeper if we want to achieve the goal of regular qualification for major tournaments... the type of goalie who regularly makes the saves he shouldn't be able to. Hopefully one of the youngsters coming through will be able to be that for us. And there is reason to hope, with Kelleher and Travers as third choice at Premier League clubs, Bazunu on his way to Man City, Corcoran established at Preston, O'Hara getting regular first-team action (and plenty of practice) on loan from Man United at Macclesfield and Bossin as regular stopper for Forest's U23s

I was about to add Sean McDermott to your list but did a quick Google to see if there's any news on him.
I can't find any article in English but it looks like he has signed for Dinamo Bucharest of Romania this week.

Yes, I didn't realise before but he recently moved to Dunarea in the top Romanian league, which would be a step up from Bulgaria where he was before.

with a name like gallagher id expect somewhere like Donegal. You'd think his father would have more of an influence.

Think Jack Bonham should be added to that list, on loan from Brentford to Bristol Rovers, by all accounts is having a good season.

Great shout. Bonham completely flew under my radar. Looks like he was first choice for Carlisle in League Two the previous season and is first choice in League One this season so steady progression.
O'Malley and Lawlor have some work to do at League One at present. Both are more out than in at their clubs.

Lawlor is out with a shoulder injury until the end of the season so the work will have to wait.

William Hondermarck has signed for Norwich from Drogheda: https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2019/january/william-hondermarck-signing/
Not sure of any international caps, but he's eligible for Ireland and France
<EDIT>
According to the42, he has applied for an Irish passport: https://www.the42.ie/william-hondermarck-4452646-Jan2019/
Hondermarck was born in France, but moved to Ireland at the age of five. He has been involved in the Republic of Ireland set-up, and was called up to the U19 squad by Tom Mohan last year. He is currently in the process of getting an Irish passport.

I've been watching some Willem II games in the last month to keep an eye on him. He's not a superstar or anything (yet ;)) but it doesn't take long to see that here's a player with a footballing brain, technique and awareness. We just don't have players like that right now and he should be involved with the squad asap imo.
For anyone interested (and with Kodi) - Willem II play FC Utrecht at 1:30pm on Sunday.

Awesome stuff. Great to hear. I thought his mother was born here.
Kenny must have known something when he referred to a lad in Germany and Italy. That will be nice to have a player with Bayern and Inter in one of our underage squads. Real Betis too if Garcia McNulty pushes on!

That's a dangerous way of putting it, Tets. It carries low credibility. Maybe say "according to his mother" or are.you worried the quotes have been fabricated? Plausible given their recent record.

Wow, that's really good news about Johansson - let's hope he lives up to his reputation. So now that's Robinson, Crowley, Johansson and Obafemi who have all committed to us in the past year... it's OK Declan, you can go now (seriously, please don't go Declan:p)

Aherne Grant of Charlton off to Huddersfield. I believe he is eligible
There was a call to make this place busier, so, possibly unneccessary but here's a Charlton fan's view of Grant, taken from a Terriers forum
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thought I'd come on here and give you my opinion of Grant as it looks fairly likely he'll be joining you.
I'll start from when he was first given a go in the first team back when he was 17. Roland Duchâtelet had not long bought us and decided he wanted most of our team made up of youth team players. As a result Karlan was given a go in the first team, it became apparent pretty quickly that he was no where near ready for the Championship along with a lot of our other young players that Roland wanted to be playing. The only one that was ready was Joe Gomez who everyone knew would go on to be a top top player.
After our relegation to league 1 Karlan still didn't feature much under either Russell Slade. Slade was then sacked and Karl Robinson brought in. Again Karlan didn't really get a chance. Robinson played a 4-2-3-1 (never ever anything else). When he did come on from the bench he would play out wide in the 4-2-3-1 and was pretty poor. This time last year I'm sure 90% of Charlton fans would have said he'd end up as no more than a decent league 1 player at best. However he had never been given a real run in the team. I'm sure that being brought into the first team at such a young and failing to make an impact a couple of season before had dented his confidence.
Towards the end of Robinsons reign as manager Karlan finally started to have more of an impact off the bench. We then decided to loan him out to Crawley where Harry Kewell was in change. Bowyer was our assistant at the time and is still mates with Kewell. Karlan played well at Crawley and looked like he had found his level possibly. While he was out on loan Robinson was sacked and Bowyer got the job full time.
During the summer there were some allegations made about him along with one of our other players. As far as I know this is ongoing but very little has been said about it in all honesty. At the start of this season we went into the first game (Sunderland away) with a tiny squad and couldn't even fill the bench. We played well though eventually losing the game 2-1. Karlan won us a penalty by Sprinting into the box and getting taken down. Taylor and Grant were very good together and never really looked back.
Karlans best attribute is his pace for sure and he's a decent finisher. However he can certainly improve and has a habit of missing one on ones. His first touch is also not the best and he needs to hold the ball up better than he does. Although he's had a good half season for us a huge amount of this is down to Lyle Taylor who's been our best player by a mile this year and is easily the best striker in the league. Most of Karlans goals have been set up by Taylor and if we're going to lose one of them I'd much rather it be Grant.
He's got potential for sure but currently he is a top league 1 / lower Championship player. If he goes straight into your team please don't expect too much of him. I think he will end up being a decent championship striker but I would be surprised if he was your main man next season, I'm sure you'll look to get someone better in and have Karlan as a back up/future prospect.

Ah, by the time he even goes through the now-obligatory 6-9 months of "considering his future" and three months of paperwork to facilitate a change, we'll have a dozen options up front

Can't warm to the prospect of Will Keane coming on board. Firstly, he has little record to suggest he will add much to our current options. Secondly, he's taken quite a while to come on board.
Also, it's a bit of an indictment on us when you compare the international careers of the twins. When Michael realised he was good enough for England he ditched us. When Will realised he wasn't good enough for England he ditched them.

That article isn't very clear on his mother's background. This tweet and responses below clear things up: https://twitter.com/GerKeville/status/1089247203196092417?s=19
So his mother was born in England to her Irish parents before moving back to Ireland and being raised here from 10 onwards. So she's firmly Irish.
A pity for the English FA not realising that he was eligible for them. They would have joined the hunt in light of their recent record.

In COMPLETE agreement with 'Olé Olé' on this one. I am all for recruiting but this one stinks to me.
I know that their father was born in Dublin and moved to England when he was 3. This guys (both brothers) were being monitored by the FAI for a long time. I myself followed a lot on them and both have (from my knowledge anyway) ZERO interest in playing for Ireland. Michael did play, but once Engerland came in, he was off. Will was apparently the promised one and never really made it. If he got the option to go and join this brother he would.
Again, I am all for recruiting but this one, no thanks. He has been given plenty of opportunities over the years and never once showed any interest
On yer bike Will!

It's been done with brothers (Jerome and Kevin Boateng) but not twins as far as I know.
