Not too surprising he is in fine form at the moment, in fact probably the best form of his life, he is in the top 10 in the stats (9th) (league based) and performing well for Ireland too, so I would not be surprise if someone is prepared to bid over £1.50 for him.

Indeed he is the best in the British Isles at the moment, next best is Kurtis Davis at no 11.

Whether a move is right fro him is another matter, seems to be doing OK at Everton under the Koeman,
seems he has changed some aspects of him game I think.

Seamus Coleman says Ronald Koeman's Everton harder to beat By SSN HQ
"[Martinez] liked his full-backs getting high and unfortunately at times we conceded too many goals.
"This manager [Koeman] wants us to be solid first and then build on that with the quality attacking players.

Coleman the hero again for Everton. May have rescued a point. Lovely looping header after staying forward in the box. Ball seemed to be dropping out of the sky for hours but he looped a lovely header over the keeper and into the top right corner of the goal.

Goal of the month potential....Not the type of goal that will get the credit it deserves...but it was a cracker of a goal .

The opportunity for Coleman was gifted on a plate after a clueless piece of defending, he hardly even had to jump to get his head to it.

It's way past the time for Everton to replace the first season fluke Martinez and get in a decent coach.

A good few Everton fans on the GrandOldTeam forum seem to think Holgate should be starting instead of him.

Coleman is very highly regarded by most Everton fans but a lot of people are frustrated by Koeman not giving the youngsters a chance when the regulars have been well below par and lacking any energy and fight. Coleman hasn't been the worst by any means but he's not at the level he was a couple of years ago.

Except he didn't appear remotely scared when Barton mocked him from a distance. The big girl's blouse is also a taekwondo blackbelt I believe. But nevermind.

Big girl's blouse has a history of deliberately injuring his own teammates in training going back to his Ajax days so I wouldn't put it past him purposely making contact with Coleman's head.

At least it will shut up the people who complained about Randolph and Ibrahimovic's collision.

Zlatan says
“I heard one of the commentators say I kicked someone in the head on purpose, but it was a 50-50 duel and he pulled me down.”
From what I could see he got miffed at Coleman and hacked him down with a malicious tackle which was worth at least a yellow.
Hard to prove that the foot stamp was malicious I guess, when it comes to the game's top idols the Shearer precedent kicks in here.

Classic bully.

Only a coward injured his own teammates in training with tackles from behind like he did to Van Der Vaart all those years ago.

Lovely glancing header.

Can Everton beat the mighty Arsenal? I noticed someone who looks suspiciously like James McCarthy on the pitch too.

[edit] maybe they can, 2-1 Everton on 86 mins, Willams heads home from a corner, similar header to Coleman's.

What does that mean ?

Just saw the goal last night. Really good finish. Many headers are a glance and a hope for the best but this was delightfully placed but what was he doing there ? Had he been up from a previous attack ?

DeLorean

You can see clearly enough how it develops from the start of the video above. He's hogging the right touchline initially and makes a darting run hoping that Barkley will spot him. Barkley goes left instead and it makes its way out to Baines so Coleman decides to continue his run into the box.

Bournemouth 3-0 Arsenal.

Hector Bellerin badly caught out several times.

Hard to believe Seamus will end his career having not played for a top 4 team.

Stuttgart88
04/01/2017, 11:45 AM
In fairness, Bellerin is an excellent player and rarely has an off day. I thought he was fouled for goal 3 and although he got sucked inside for goal 1 I place a lot of blame on Petr Cech for not yelling at Bellerin and Ramsey that Daniels was unmarked. That's just basic stuff. Thierry Henry said Bellerin was right to cover the guy on the inside.

DeLorean
04/01/2017, 12:08 PM
Didn't Ramsey point out Daniels to Bellerin? I think he should have just taken care of it himself instead of pointing, not sure it's really Bellerin's job to cover his opposing full back anyway. Bellerin was still extremely poor the way he sold himself to allow Daniels cut inside though. Not sure about the third goal, bit of a shove maybe or more outmuscled? Referees would normally blow it up alright but Bellerin didn't even complain himself to be fair.

But yes, he's been consistently excellent for a long time now, hence why he got on the Premier League team of the season last year and deservedly ahead of Coleman and the rest.

TheOneWhoKnocks

*The same Premier League team of the season Richard Dunne and Shay Given got into while pundits repeatedly questioned whether they were good enough for top 4 teams.

I don't think Bellerin has been consistently excellent for a long time, I think he has consistently being one of Arsenal's weak points.

I think Coleman is better defensively.

Scores with a beauty of a finish. Has played really well.

Played in by Davies - takes a touch and I thought he'd blown it but then rockets a finish through the keeper and into the roof of the net from a slight angle.

Proof there is life after Sligo Rovers

I do think it would be remiss of him not to move to a Champions League team in the Summer he isn't getting any younger and I think it's a case of now or never. He need only look at his full back partner who was linked with the likes of Bayern Munich but never moved

Good finish. The Palace guy's shenanigans over his "injury" were pathetic, as was Allardyce's reaction to it. And which game was it ('boro?) where the guy just sat down with a minor injury, leaving his opponent unmarked and leading to a goal? Unreal.
