Brush, Keane, Ventre and Butler are all on the PFAI Transfer List. (http://www.pfai.ie/transfer-list)

WTF! This is ****ing crazy.

I dont see him getting rid of Brush unless he has a very good replacement lined up, e.g Barry Murphy (now a free agent aswell), Butler Keane and Ventre are other players I would be surprised to see let go. WHy keep Butler on for awhole season and let him go when hes about to come back from injury ? while Keane and Ventre have been very good and committed players. The list may only show players confirmed as out of contract ? wont beleive it until the club announce anything.

he hasnt been released. none of them have. they are out of contact, they put themselves on the list until somethings sorted. owen hearys on it aswell, he wont be leaving bohs

i didnt like him when on the wing. i thought he was far better when played up front but i dont think i would take him back to be honest i never really admired him he never seemed commited. i wonder will farren play again he is quality when fit.

i remember in vllaznia he kept aking mary mcgowan about his contract renewal and he seemed as though he was happy to stay but i suppose a lot can change in a few months and maybe the buget restricts us . i doubt turner came cheap all the same

is that only during the off season cf as i presume he will be on a fair wedge once 2010 season starts up. on another note i apologise if i seemed to be getting onto you in fai cup final post. i can get excited at times :o

no i think he was only on a small wage during the season. dont know what players get for wages in the off season, if its full amount or what but he wasnt on much at all

Its great that everything has settled down and everyone is 'happy familys' again. So cute.

I hope McGlynn signs, someone that knows more may be able to tell me, i dont understand the situation with him, CF1989, can you share any info on this transfer rumour?

I heard Real Madrid have beaten off competition from rivals Barcelona as well as Italian and English giants Ac Milan,Manchester United and Chelsea to capture Danny Ventre in a deal which beats their own record for the transfer of Ronaldo.. a club source said "its a dream to get Danny on to the same team as Ronaldo,Raul,Alonso,Benzema and the other Galacticos".

On page 61 of this morning's Star it says Chris Turner may have to resign with Rovers.

"...Turner is believed to signed up for the Bit O'Red on a standard player contract which the FAI are no longer accepting....."

The Sun has it that Shams have not given up on signing Turner and O'Neill is trying to pinch him from us.

The Sun had something on this but didnt mention anything about contracts. It said that the Rovers deal with Turner hadnt being finalised and Shams were sniffing about again.

this league really is an embarressment to be honest. at times ya feel like someone just dropped us into a circus or the twilight world. players with 2 contracts, clubs millions in debt, managers leave then come back, 65% income saga, richie winters short listed for ref of the year.......... it just goes on and on !!!

Transfer Rumours/ Suggestions.
We have had 1900 posts since Sligoman opened this thread in November 2007. Is there any sad person out there that would calculate the number of players that were rumoured to be coming to the BOR, probably enough to field several teams and most of these never came. Likewise if we go from what we have seen here over the last few weeks we will be lucky to have one first team player left, now that Turner seems to be gone. Having said that I would not have it any other way, I get a great buzz when I read here that we are about to sign some top class player, Sligo Rovers are built on dreams so keep dreaming up some big name signings. I am furious that Real Madrid have called back the central defender that they gave us on loan at the beginning of the season, shame for a big club like that to do that to us.:mad:

Heard today that Boco has left the club, as in got on a plane and gone. I know he would be headin home to play in the African Nations Cup in January but heard its a one way ticket. Anyone hear anything?

I am not too surprised that he wants to leave.. I think I read somewhere that he wants to return to the warmer clims as the cold weather doesnt seem to agree with him?

I said seems to be gone, only saying what the Morning Star said on the 21/11/09 "Turner is believed to have signed for Sligo on standard player contract which the FAI are no longer accepting"
If you say he is going to be with us next year I am very happy but remember this is the same FAI who made a laughing stock out of us today when the asked for Ireland to be but in as the 33 team in the draw for the World Cup, so anything is possible with those b......s
