Write out description of link then highlight the phrase you want and click the 'insert link' tab (it's the globe at the top in 'post options', beside the various font options). Copy and paste the link in the resultant pop-up. And yer sorted. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperlink)

Sorry almost forgot about topic at hand - TRAP OUT. Call up McCarthy NOW! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_F._McCarthy)

whats he saying TC?

Posting from the phone so couldn't post the links. Usual BS. Both articles have been linked now as far as I can see.

One thing in our favour is that the Scots don't have a competitive game till Sept and no game at all till the Celtic cup in May. I doubt they'd call him up to that given the reception he'd get.

As for the thread on YBIG. Sweet Jesus. That place is like a ****ing crèche these days notwithstanding the excellent work the lads have done re singing section, the fanzine etc. It's embarrassing stuff.

Didn't work. Will figure it out...

try this

Once you click http://foot.ie/images/editor/createlink.png<insert link>, then copy and paste your entire link into the space - then click OK to enter it into your post .
You will be presented with the elongated link in the message body of your post .
You will note that the last part of that elongated link will be highlighted, that part between the parenthesis.
You can replace that highlighted text with words of your own choosing.
Those are the words which will appear in your reply, to represent your link, once it is loaded up on the thread.

BBC reporting it as a time to decide break from McCarthy, they seen to have blended most articles which have been linked to here today, nothing really new or insightfull there except the Martinez interview of today and yestarday appearing together as far as I can tell.

I switch between the two. discuss the groups, players and games here, and then the singing section stuff there.

Martinez says McCarthy must make “a very, very deep” decision about whether to switch allegiance from the Ireland to Scotland. And Trap does not have McCarthy's telephone number.

I want this saga to end soon. I can imagine him turning up for us v. Macedonia and being left on the bench the whole game too!

Just because you read that hidden message in some/many posts directed to you, does not mean it applies to other posters.
I commend Fly on his bravery to ask the question that others were afraid to ask, at the risk of appearing inadequate.

yes that was it geysir.

I don't need to be told that, as I know its not true.

James' agent was being interviewed on Scottish radio earlier this evening.

What did he say? Robbie Keane out for 6 weeks with calf injury just been on the radio.

Agent seems to be saying McCarthy is and Ireland player with no switch to Scotland.

What date is Macedonia?

26th March

Noelys Guitar
10/02/2011, 8:50 PM
What date is Macedonia?

26th which would give Keane very little time to get match fit. The Macedonia game might be his first match back. I would still have him on the bench at least if that is the case. Spurs play West ham on the 19th of March.
