And for the record, we had in or around the same budget as Shels this year. Fingal had the biggest and look where they finished.
So tell me... what was the Shels budget ?
Or if you want you can tell me what the Dundalk budget was ??
I'll bet you're wrong!

Ahh there's the annual Parkhouse to Rovers rumour . Please god don't let him join, he was terrible for Finn Harps this season.
No he wasn't. Top scorer and one of our best players. Not that that is saying much.

Another thing you can be sure of he will be 100% fit, probably fitter than he has ever been before so i would give him a chance. Where is he from Donegal?

He's from Derry. Spent a bit of this season injured, but still scored 7 goals in about 23 games. Good target man and can hold the ball up well.

Parky is class, can look lazy at times but has superb ability on the ball. His touch is first class and vision and passing is second to none at Harps imo.
Parky was one of our best players over the past 2 seasons. Hopefully he will stay but it will be hard to keep him.

If Sligo want Parkhouse they can have him. I dont know why Harps fans think he is a good player. Cant dribble and cant head a ball. Very overrated.

I don't know why some Harps fans don't rate him. Class footballer, ask the other Harps players what they think of him.
Every centre half thats played against him reckon he is a top top player, just because he doesn't run round the pitch for 90 mins like a headless chicken doesn't make him a bad footballer.

I for one would definitely hold on too him. Great first touch, holds the ball up really well, can pass and can also finish decent.
Only problem I have with him is he doesn't challenge for enough headers, like Sam said he is lazy sometimes!

Yup, unlike Shaun Roddy, Shaun Holmes, Gary Beckett, Marty McCann, Paul Hegarty, Austin Friel, Marc Mukendi and Kevin Ramsey.

They would be good additions to the squad if we got them. Ollie Cahill has vast experience in the Europe with 38 appearances overall. While with Alan Cawley we'll have someone who can be a threat from taking a free-kick and, if he's on form, can be very skillful.

maybe be different when hes playing for his hometown?
Plus im pretty sure the aul boys in the Treacy wouldnt hesitate to let any player know how they felt if any player wasnt throwing his weight around.

He got plenty of stick from the Bray fans this year and that didn't help him change his attitude. He'll play when he wants to play.
He is a very talented player and he can be a great asset but the fact is he has a serious attitude problem.

He had a brilliant season in 2007, what happened then though ? did his form take a bad turn as well as having a bit of a bad attitute ?. I still think it would be worth signing him, you never know how a player will do at a new club. He would get good support as he's very popular here, he got a round of applause when he was substituted last week from our supporters.

Whenever we had a go at him for not getting stuck in he sulked and his level of interest dropped further. Fantastic talent, shocking attitude. Id still like to keep him though, when on form he's quality

Conor Sinnott. It'd be a great move for him, very similar style player to Fahey so I can see why he'd be linked (not saying he's as good but certainly has potential).
