Im saying you would trust Paul Doolin more than you would trust Sean Connor...he must off being trustworthy if the bloody courts took his side over Bohs!

your not seriously using that as an example  :D
There should be a rule against it. It's ridiculous that you can go out signing new players when you still owe money to previous players and staff..
AFAIk soe clubs have asked that a rule be implemented.

Maybe, although Id imagine there are plenty of clubs that at some stage have owed bonuses etc,

Fairly strange thing to assume.....given that you dont know me

Possibly the most skewed logic ever used on this forum, and thats tough.
If you dont think Sean Connor is a bull****ter then I think you're in for a rude awakening

Id imagine its something the PFAI would want to push for too.
Certainly not a rule I'd be against in principle

It'll be very interesting to see how Cork and Drogheda emerge from this entire examinership process.. I think we are bound to see new rules and penalties for clubs who enter examinership and subsequently emerge from it (relatively) intact. I think the FAI were considering a 10 point deduction for the season after examinership was entered as well as the season it was entered in - this would definitely be worth a look and also (as has been mentioned) a rule on signing players when wages are already owed.
Anyway, back to transfer rumours.. :)

Heard that Alan Carey and Dave Warren set to join the Blues...
Kenny Browne has turned down an offer from both us and Fingal too..

Personally I think examinership should mean automatic relegation, it drags the name of the league through the mud and the club clearly needs time to sort itself out.

I think a move to Sligo or Dundalk would benefit him most. It won't be easy to break into the Bohs starting XI. Doubt he's the player to replace Keith Fahey either

He'll go to whoever gives him the most €€, end of story. He was on loan with us from Shels and at one stage wanted to pick up his wages before the match so he could go home as he hadn't been picked that day.

IIRC he recently switched from Tolka to Wayside.
Newry City have turned down a bid from Dundalk for midfielder Michael Collins ahead of the visit of Cliftonville.

Thats an interesting one as the chairman did hint on friday that they would review the cut backs in the summer with a view to loosening the purse strings a bit if possible.
Would it be on a free?

Yes it would be.
He is a good player, will break up play. His downfall is his passing is sometimes loose. Would be a bad loss to Linfield although thankfully Jamie Mulgrew can do everything Gault can do and can go forward to.

All the games against us he was always very impressive in midfield alright, would certainly a big signing if true and would be interesting to see of Kenny got the best out of him with the full-time training.

Jamie Duffy is rubbish, Farrell was great at the end of the season after a VERY slow start. A lot of our fans myself included thought he might have been given a crack at the premier. I would imagine he would have if Gill was still manager

Duffy was good for us in 2007 in the Premier Division when we had him on loan so we'll hope for a return to that form.

Farrell wasn't fit at the start of last season and it drastically effected his performances, then he came back stronger and banged them in, sorry to see him go, was a huge presence for us in the last quarter, had alot of confidence, neat passes and tricks and excellent finishing.
Duffy is the most frustrating player to watch, always cuts in and tries to take the ball around a player one too many times.looked really good at the start of the season, same as Davie O'COnnor but both really disappeared after 10 games or so!
