Was at coachford game, good proper tough football game. Had everything 2 sendings off missed penalty and 4 goals. Apologies I don't know names. Kilumney started v strongly wer up 2 nil after bout 20 mins. Coachford pulled it back just on half time, cross went straight in top corner, second half was scrappy, kilumney player handled on line and sent off, but coachford missed penalty. Big turning point. Coachford on top from here on with kilumney having occasional break. Coachford player v harshly sent off for tangle with forward, think it was straight red. Then with 2 or 3 mins left, great strike sealed it for kilumney. Tough tackling game, ref missed a bit on both sides. Exciting game to watch

Battered coachford tonight and I mean battered like a fish you get in a chipperthat sounds like kilumney won ugly they didnt their passing was better and their movement the lot to be honest kilumney wanted it more midfield won the game and calla was outstanding up to his sending off .the ref is the best out there at the moment .

Kilumney show stopper to nite had to b the man in the sticks to nite outstanding and this is coming from an outsiderhe was very good and made some fine saves one of the best around the low save was unreal how he stopped and held it and stole a yard off all his kick outs ha ha very tough night for both kilumney and coachford .

Good report, who were the sending offs for today?park need to drop points to keep things interesting, there on a good run at the moment aswel.lucy got a red and it was harsh and calla got one for handball on the goal line on this player calla best fullback by miles in cork dont waste a ball and gets forward has it all.as i posted it wasnt a dirty game but they were a few little hand bag off the ball all sorted by a good ref .on the pen i dont see why a keeper cant have water before the kick it was a good pen but not good enough to beat him he is top class.

i dont recall park (the reigning league champions) being part of the famous 'big 3' from earlier in the season! coachford getting found out now big time..2 horse race killumney or park! do they have to play?
Don't think its a two horse race at all. Park are strong favourites in my opinion & rightly so. Coachford are still in with a massive shout as are pearse. Pearse are a great side & all they have to do is keep winning. There will be a load of twists & turns in the premier. Everyone has to play each other. Each team will drop more points. Its great that its interesting & competitive though.

Unfortunately our loss to killumney I would think ruled us out but we won't be giving any team a easy game just because we can't win it I can see us having a major say In we're the league go s because we must play the top 3 again

I totally disagree. To rule any team out would be stupid. Everyone has to play each other. We must travel to pearse & host coachford & park. Ye must travel to park & host coachford. Its all to play for. All the top teams(whoever people consider in that list)will lose more games & that's a fact. There is a lot of football to be played yet.

Coachford seem to bypass midfield by lumping the ball forward, but the 2 players up front are good enough to deal with that kind of ball.

Relegation battle is getting a bit interesting, didnt realise how close it was, Greenwood have 3 tough games in 8 days, cant see them picking up too many ooints, springfield should beat castleview, blarny st. Have some tough ones. Macroom go to knockavilla on tuesday and must win really, does anyone know who macroom have in their last game? Could go right to the wire.

They have Kilumney at home as far as I know Donnie or ourball could confirm that.We have 2 tough games Springfield on sat who need points and also Macroom on the Tuesday night who also need a win . We are going for our best finish in Prem since we have went up in 2010 and will be hell bent on picking up as many points as we can . So nothing easy here as I said in an earlier post a lot of teams have a lot to play for be it fighting to win the league or fighting to stay up . Interesting times ahead .
