Im reffering to friendly matches don't think the same bite is there like competitive matches.Blarney Street and Wilton played on Astro last night and both of these would normally play on Grass, competitively it could be a very different result.Leeview have been beating higher level opposition competitively this season and beating a premier team is still a great result friendly or not.

Gotta echo Killers statement. 1for has been helping us out since November and we've improved ten fold from listening to him. Was hoping blarney street would be stupid enough to overlook him and he'd stay with us but no such luck. You're manager of the year for a reason and he'll win that accolade again. #1for=legend

Just goes to prove how strong teams from the 3rd Division are this year, in particular our own division. Great to see and can only be beneficial to the AUL in my opinion. Friendly or not its a nice result and good to see Oldlegs coming on and not throwing excuses for the defeat. Well done to both.
Good to see you back involved again 1for with Blarney St. Best of luck with it.

How are Springfield doing this year?
I know they had a few issues at the start of the season. Haven't seen them play in a while and have noticed they've picked up a few results lately.

Liams, wouldnt be too sure about that. Top few teams in that division all capable of beating each other. Lots of football to be played yet.
Yea Killer, looking forward to it. Should be a good game. Like yourself, we are missing 12 of our starting 11......... ; )
See you tomorrow night Mr Ferguson.........

one for why would you not just take over now and go in and get a good insight into the dressingroom before next season.as you know yourself people can only see so much from the outside looking in. Im sure the glen are thrilled with the prospect of you managing another northside team as id imagine players will move across especially if the glen dont go up so it could be very difficult for themdressing rooms not built yet bud ;)

Horse who is it that got sent of against Grattan bud????horse both managers took the players off and brought them back on so what's your problom ? You would think now you would be supporting us rather then stirring it giving the Sligo crowd something to talk about .
Only in cork would you get it!

You have me 100% wrong pal. Didnt even look who ye were playing. We are playing Grattan and I heard one from each side was sent off. No Grattan guy on forum so asked you. Go back over my posts and see my thoughts on Pearse Celtic.
On your other point, why does anyone in Cork want ye to lose? People on this forum may predict teams will find it hard in games, but can't recall seeing the word "want".

Someone gave you the wrong info horse trying to stir it so because anyone who was at the game would see John asked the lads to go off for a few mins and relax .

Your being a small bit on fair to City Utd . Yes if Innishvilla had been more clinical in first half it would have been game over but they didn't and in 2 half City took control of the game and they could have nicked it . In extra time Innish could have won it . City players all looked good on the ball and they had a few handy ball players . But Innish should have been out of sight at half time

Friday night result:
AUL 3A: Leeview 2 - 0 Carrigtwohill United.
A first half strike from Amadou Caruba and a second from Paul Byrnes in the second half sealed victory for Leeview in what was their third league victory on the bounce.

Oldlegs i watched um an if im being totally honest i was not impressed. For a side so far into the contest i was stunned to see that they looked as unfit. They looked a decent side when Innish took the foot off the pedal but at times it was very ragged. Innish looked a very promising side, if innish were a small bit cuter they would of won the game handy. innish gave away a terrible soft goal an still had chances to put it to bed. When i saw that Pearse had drawn them then i thought handy draw. Look iv no problem admiting City will give them a game , talk is cheap but i will be surprised if Pearse lose.3/1
