Cheers Just My Opinion. Most of us give unbiased reports here and try to talk football but there's always one. Tricksey Mark is a nice young fella and a good player but ya man makes him out to be unbelievable which he's not. You watched the game and gave your (fair) report on it so fair play.

Ya good win Killer, I was at my own game so missed it, but the lads needed that win before Thursdays game, keeps us in the hunt anyway.
on our game against Innishvilla, gutted to have lost, draw would have been fair, but we needed to win to have any chance to stay in the shake up, Oldlegs summed it up, both teams went for it, draw wouldn't have suited either team probably explains why it was so open.

Skilly John c egor all on the bench for coachford today it finished up 7-1.
Think a bit unfair to give a report givin the scoreline lads but coachford used there squad very well today Jeffers played well and baby zico got a rocket when he came on

I heard John scored from the tip off, ball was centered and he dink the keeper.greenwood will surely have a full squad Tuesday against ourselves and give us a game for a derby day😄

Northside or Southside it doesnt matter. You have 5 or 6 fellas here who either watch the games or played against both teams that are saying we are the better team. Donaldhino is down the back of beyonds and he said it. Bite the bullet and listen for once. Nolan played the 90 minutes so he's a class act, ha ha. Vinny is twice the player he is and Murphy is better than both of them. Will is worlds ahead of all of em. Referees dont like him and he'd get a yellow card for asking how longs left.refs dont like him ok if you say so do refs hold a grudge lads intresting why would they . park and coachford going msl ?

1 incident in our match today..
Offside and a free to us in our own box, player tapped to another player in our box..
Ref said re take it cause player wasn't outside box..
Maybe I'm wrong but is that a rule?

Beezer ha it's as tight for the golden boot as it is for both leagues
On the refs thing I don't normally complain about refs really just get on with it because there's only going to be 1 winner and it's not going to be the player or manager.
IMO when I hear people saying refs robbed us I laugh because they don't mean todo it

Lads Do ye not realise that refs read this and know like the rest of us do who Some of us are on this and what teams we play for ? Why grumble in about refs it get ya no where !refs do not have to explain there descions to us and we are not entitled to ask them why this and that ref ! Obviously it's frustrating 99% of refs will accept if you question a call once but not questioning the call 3 or 4 times , why doesn't everyone for one week just get on with it not question the refs calls and I bet your club will have less fines that week.

Just to clarify its not only a goal kick but any free kick by the defending team in the penalty area has to leave the penalty area before it's considered to be "in play". The ref was correct to order a retake....very few aware of this rule but it is in The Laws Of The Game, Law 13 & Law 16.Refs do get it right sometimes .

To be fair, being a ref is part of the game, they will always get mentioned, don't think too many refs care about what people think of them, once it's not personal it shouldn't matter that their performance in the game is spoke about. Most refs would be fairly thick skinned anyway.

They take no backchat from when the kids start at U-6's. If a kid or manager gives lip to a rugby ref then their team gets penalized. This is regardless of whether the decision was right or wrong. Rugby players just carry that on through the age groups with them. To be fair it's probably a bit easier to ref rugby as it's more stop/start and set plays.....I'm sure someone will disagree with that!! If you go to a local schoolboys game you'll see some abuse thrown at ref's from the lines and then the players. It becomes the norm then

Totally agree - but I think one huge advantage that rugby has is that there is a punishment that fits a crime - i.e. giving a penalty/reversing a penalty or moving a ball forward punishes a team to a degree where it can cost the offending team points or cause them to miss out on the opportunity etc... Very hard to find a punishment level that is similar in Soccer.

I recently called to a nephew's U15 rugby game - the sidelines were not quiet by any means but there was no abuse, no bad language - one word - RESPECT.
