With a disciplinary meeting to come and 2 players both on 2 reds each it might turn out working against them

Heard from an aul source that coachford tried to switch game to killimneys pitch but were told that was unplayable also.

Nothing said about falling apart it prob has something todo with winning 9 games against the "easier teams " and then meeting pearse and park dropping points then about to play killumney and possibly dropping points for the 3rd straight game maybe coachford felt they didn't need a 3rd tough game in a row

Or maybe they wanted to protect their pitch knowing that April and May are normally when pitches are used most by clubs, and for sake of 1 game they didn't want to ruin the pitch for the remainder of the season, I presume Coachford have a lot of teams within their club using the pitch, which probably influenced their decision. Or maybe not:)

Match report from last night lads
Springfield had the ball in the net after 5 mins after a keeping error but rules out for a offside.pearse held onto the ball very very comfortably creating loads of chances and would have been home and dry if not for Brendan keating in goal who had a unbelievable game I presume the few nasty challenges we received were from frustration. On the Cobh lads part from lack of possession
2nd half was the exact same as the first half nothing for us to do at the back only in the odd counter Brendan was in superb form again and when we received a blatant spot kick in the 95 min he saved that aswell and nearly got the rebound.
All in all 3 points

Highly doubt coachord are afraid of kilumney.
There going to have to play them at some point.
Reason the game wasn't called off against pike was because they would of lost home advantage.
It wasn't the only game called off last night either.
Your constantly mentioning coachford on here tricks.
They must be doing something right to say your so pre occupied with them.

Could we have a wash out this weekend lads. Not many pitches in Cork going to survive this weather I'd say. Pressure on the AUL to fulfil fixtures now. Going to be a lot of teams playing 3 times a week.

On the MSL thing.I presume the MSL expect at the very least you have an enclosed pitch and dressing rooms, all of a decent to high standard. Also that you can prove your not a flash in the pan club if ya follow me.Good backing commitee an sponsorship wise, plans for the future an all that.Underage structure would be a major factor. I cant remember off hand the last time I heard a MSL club fold, where we all could name lots of AUL clubs who have sadly gone that way. In a nutshell there looking for clubs who are serious about improving,on an off the pitch.

Regards to kilreen they were senior the year before the only reason they played junior last year was because of a falling out with management and committee

Re: MSL Criteria, just going on our dealings with the MSL last year. The main things where Facilities ( good pitch, dressing rooms with showers and also a dressing room for referees) facilities being owned or having a long term lease on your grounds. Enclosed pitch was also spoke about but that was really based for out of town FAI Intermediate games!. The structure of the club also, if there is schoolboys and youth teams coming through in the club. That was really bout it lads.
