Might have looked like a dive from refs angle but ya,
A penalty if ever I saw one,
Blarney street will take that bit of good fortune
They deserved the draw at least

Barely!!the street battled but lets be honest we had a chance or 2 as well and when a team shows the fight they did it was earned .killumney are a fab team and they put us to the sword at times but we played some nice football as well.peno was the bit of luck we needed but to dramatic in going down and lookd like a dive i was in front of it we got lucky.

I think its 2 points lost for leeview to be honest..knocka have lost at least 6 players from last years good team and leeview should of taking full advantage but if they had injuries maybe that was the reason......the glen loosing opens up the league big time. We might see our top 2 leagues go all the way to the last day which would be brillant...talking to a coachford player last night and he said springfield were poor but coachfords squad very strong and 1 r 2 players were ****ed off they didnt get a run...they will be a twist there buddy carrig big slip up today in 3a.

Hi Guys,

Back of the Net hasn't gone away.

Our brand new website is currently under construction and should be ready in approximately two weeks.

The new website will again be dedicated to all levels of football in Cork from the Cork Schoolboy's League all the way through to Cork City and the League of Ireland.

Features will include interviews with those who are associated with football in Cork, match reports, a result service, pictures and video recorded after-match interviews and so much more.

A Sky Sports type live rolling ticker will also be a highlight and will bring you all the latest news and results from around the grounds.

Suggestions and ideas are welcome from everybody for this very ambitious project which will transform how football in Cork is featured on the internet.

Other features to look for will be a weekly poll, our columnists, a betting advice page and some fantastic competitions.

For more information contact 087 2201145 or email editor@backofthenetcork.ie

Ya big disappointment for Carrigtwohill B today, we would have hoped to capitalise on Leeview/Knocknaheeny draw, agreed though that the Glen won't be caught now. Still a great battle in store for 2nd between Carrig, Knocknaheeeny, Evergreen, Leeview and Boscos after their last 2 results.

I think its between leeview and carrig....i really fancied knocka at the start of the year but players left and the glen werebankers after that...they are good team and they will climb the leagues over thenext few years...

Park still not out of the race to retain their title . Prem is looking a lot tighter . Still a lot of games to play and too early to pick a winner , even thou we all have our fav's . Any idea on who is leading golden boot at the moment ? They used have it on the Echo before each week but doesn't seem to be on it anymore . My money's on Jeffer's .

The league is over....they have to beat a very fit and well organised newmarket in the final....saw them play at the start of the season and they looked good....banker 1 r 2 reds.....i saw the glen play a few weeks ago and I noticed they had some players who were playing with their first team last year....they play nice football so this should be a cracker......but I wouldnt be shocked if the glen didnt win tho

Well killumneys result against blarney street was a shock but credit to blarney street.....your right about it not being over still a lot of football left to play but if killumney want to win the league they really need to be beating the likes of blarney street in fairness....park could creep back up alright but I dont think they will win it...top score must be baby zico or jeffers as coachford are scoring for fun and thry will probably continue scoring with the firepower they have going forward....

Very disappointing yesterday with the result, especially at home. Have to dust ourselves down and get on with it. Still a few massive games coming up and i think who ever can put a few results together will be favourites for the play off. Great for the league to be so competitive, not good for the heart !!!
Def the strongest 3rd Division i have ever seen.

Was at the game yesterday between Kilumney and Blarney St and credit to 1for and the street players they really worked hard and upset the Kilumney players and the point they got was totally deserved. For me Kilumney are too cocky and it showed yesterday. They thought they had nothing to do but turn up and collect 3 points against a very under strength blarney st team. They struggled to up there game when they had to and that's the difference between them and coach ford. They hit 7 against another struggling team cause they never left them get a foothold in the game and had right attitude. That could be a huge 2 points dropped for Kilumney come the end of the season. Credit due to referee too who I think got all the big decisions right including the penalty shout at the end. Another ref would have given it and another would not but I thought the Kilumney lad made too much of it. Would have been very harsh on the blarney st lads though had it been given. Who was the lad in goal yesterday 1for haven't seen him before?

Not sure of the keepers name but he played rightfull against us the week before . Coachford will drop points too hard for team to keep standard high all season but infarness they are putting teams to the sword not just content with winning 1 or 2 nil they don't seem to be easing off in games . And was a defo peno on sunday

Pearse and Park could go either way too close to call I'm thinking a draw in that one and Coachford game be tight too but a Coachford win looks likely but by a fine margin maybe 2-1 or 1-0 I would'nt be a bit surprised if knockavilla surprised us though there a good side!!

I fancy knockavilla to get a result against Coachford them two hate each other..knockavilla will wind um up and they will start kicking and Coachford line will gwt on ref back killumney lads talking rubbish again in town last night saying that referee are against them loli think there great lads all sound and the peno looked like a bit of a dive but we all have our opinions you get some others you dont great team they are and will bounce back on the plus side for both of us we have a point more then what we started with lol.hubba as far as i know killumney boys not drinking much in town thats their bizo i still think there a fab team and keeping the street moving in the right direction is all we want.

Tough game at home to Park Sat but look forward to it another game called off at the weekend would do your head not playing hopefully 3 points for us to try put pressure on Coachford they seem to be running away with it 40 goals scored and 3 conceded in 7 games thats unreal to be fair. Knockavilla could easily take points off Coachford sat not going to get nothing easy off them.

Ya what Joe Browne...I mean central fox said Pearse and Greenwood are getting community pitch's.it has too be your own too play MSL which neither can afford!same goes for blarney street!! any clubs that own their pitchs and have schoolboys set up be mad too stay AUL.
