What about players abusing refs lads ? I wonder is that allowed then it goes both ways if u call or say this an that to a ref he s only human I presume he would give it back like.

I wonder is that allowed then it goes both ways if u call or say this an that to a ref he s only human I presume he would give it back like. very valid point tricksey but players usually get mad when basic decisions have been gotten wrong and when they ask for a reason there dismissed as schoolchildren these players pay the money for the ref so i have no sympathy for some of them are in it for the cash and not for a love of the game now that said as for the quote allegedly used after yesterdays game if that was said to some refs after a game the player would have got a red and then missed a game so who do the refs get reported to

Two very good players great signings!! It's a new keeper is what Pearse need though the lack of competition isn't good its there only weak spot really!!

All good teams need 2 keepers but very hard too keep both happy if they are both worthy number 1's.besides Pearse's keeper proved in the FAI Cup why hes there number 1 he was questionable for the first goal...ball over the top and he came out half ways too meet striker then back peddled but didn't make it back and the CF slotted it in but after that and especially in the second half he made 4or5 saves he had no buisness getting too

Opens up premier A like I've never seen beforethat glen team will be hard to stop now well done lads looking at who they have left to play ther in with a chance .as for the refs some are better then others we all blame them lol .coachford were looking to far ahead i think and now there is no zico battle .pearce keeper is a fine keeper and is having a great season he watch,s a lot of games so i think he helps out his gaffer to .id like to see pearce win somthing fine side they are .

waterloo looking good in aul 2.whats after happening out there this season?still in cors and county cup as well.have a few players who other clubs must be looking at that should b playing at higher level.heard one player turned down chance to play with cork aul team.

How many of ye are we friends with hubba ?
We sing every weekend hubba and maybe that's why we're going well we enjoy our football and the singing afterwards :)

Drew one all up in Faira. Disapointed not to get all three points but only secured one late on!! Bohs have most of their title winning side back and the MOM in centre of park hit a thirty yarder that would still be travelling only for the net!! We missed a pen and their keeper pulled off three worldies! Same ref as Pearse had - makes life so easy! He got a biggie wrong when disallowing a goal for us but its easier to take it when it's a good ref making a bad call than a bad ref!! All he did was explain a call when asked.......respect given and received!!

We were the away team in our new dressing rooms!! For all of ye who changed in Monard over the years - listen carefully..........Players asked to TURN THE HEAT DOWN!! Oh the luxury!

Good crowd at a blood and thunder derby and handshakes at the whistle!!

2 nil Douglasleeview disapointed a bit that coachford are gone crazy as it seems they felt that they had a better chance v coachford then douglas now it looks a lot more difficult for the 3rd div team .

We had a friendly against cobh ramblers this Saturday coming!
All ready for it,posters up around the town,we no its not cork city but second best,so big match for the people of the town and all the young lads wanting to play ball!sponsers got and all!!

Anyway the club got a call from the aul tonight saying were not allowed play cause they won't sanction it..
They won't allow friendlys..
Some joke!
Same AUL who fixed Grattan and Kilreen the same day and time and pitch..
A lot of effort went into this to get the friendly from the commitee!

Now we can't play because of a stupid rule..

I never heard about it before either until we played evergreen in a friendly two weeks ago . Is it active just during the season or what

Didn't the Fai block Limerick Citys game against Barca a few years back. Also didn't aul post on the Aul site that we needed permission for friendlys and Kanturk go to all the proper channels and get shut down . How does this make Kanturk football club look like in their locality (ie as Don says sponsorship got matchballs posters all over town Aul makes them look like clowns ) no disrespect to Kanturk. Maybe if ye had offered them a third of the gate I bet they would have said play away or even a chicken supper .

Hubb when did we ever blame the ref for losing a game? We lost 3 games this season Blarney bate us in d semis that day we all still say it to this day that ref was the best we had all season,park bate us in d MJC we got a player sent off and lost the game cause we went down to 10 men and he deserved the red too and coachford bate us in aoh they fully deserved the win not once did we ever moan about a referee we dont look for excuses at all boy we just get on with it and try get it right in th next game with a win and win lose or draw were always singing bud :)

I dont think anyone is blaming the ref for Douglas beating Coachford..I wasnt at the game but I know a lad that was at the game who is not involved with either club and he said the way the referee in question spoke to some members of Coachfords line after the game was a disgrace...As I mentioned in an earlier post he used terrible language in front of one of the Coachford players son who was about 5 years of age...And from what I have seen this year in the AUL I still say Coachford are the best footballing team just ahead of Killumney...The beauty of the cup is unreal...I saw Grattan beat Douglas the week before and after the game I tought Coachford would hit them for 6, they were that bad..

Played Waterloo start of feb, granted we hadn't played in 8-9 weeks, they beat us 3-0 at ours. I wasn't at the game but all the lads seemed to be in agreement they're the best side we've played this season.

We beat donoughmore yesterday at home. They're a decent side in fairness to them. Came back from 2-0 down to 2-2 but we nicked a winner with 5 mins to go. Id never jump the gun though, some good teams in this division this season. Waterloo look the strongest but you'd never know what could happen!

I would say Edwin Buckley is the main reason that they are where they are

Hear they have great numbers out training weekly as well

Still a lot of football to be played in what is a tight division
