Big result out of cathedral tonite. They done well last season in the weaker of the Div 1(s) and got promoted via a playoff . Haven't had the best of starts to the season but tonites result confirms my belief that the Mossie is used as a pre season . That aside Killumney look like they are in real trouble! They won't be relegated but they will challenge for nothing

Ah moonman in fairness he signed with 3 teams last year. Surely pearse aren't that stuck.Hes actually signed for the b team and was called up last night cause dey were missing a few and the manager thinks hes good enough and in fairness he played a big part in pearse winning had to play up top for the majority of the second half on his own after the sending off caused the glen defence all sort of problems and set up the equaliser too that was against the team most fellas tipped to win prem aswell think he proved he can play that level last night to be fair, fellas are very quick to slag on this.

The Hall didn't fold. They broke up the old AUL team too play with their 2 MSL Junior sides and in doing so have strengthed the Seniors as now they can step up too help them if needed where as when they were an AUL side they could not. I was told they looked into useing players from their youths and 19's too compete as the AUL side but complications with them then not being allowed too play for the MSL junior sides if needed led too The Hall scrapping the team. Best move for the club as a whole.
I think Leeds Balinhassig and Castleview will follow suit and move away from the AUL completely too the MSL in the future for the benifit of their Senior sides also but thats just my 2 cents

Cork doesn't need two junior leagues - neither is as strong as it should be.
