Best goal scorer in the aul for years now. I'd fancy him to grab the golden boot this year with the way he has started the season. Scoring some amount of goals he is

he will defo be there or there abouts anyways kilreen will be going for a hat-trick of golden boot winners so nala won it 2years ago scott joint winner last year aswell

As good as Nala is I think winning it from prem a isn't the same. Prem a is poor and is much easier to get goals in. Golden boot should be either just prem or else have one for each division. I for one wouldnt be too happy if I scored 20 goals in prem only to lose out to someone with 21 in prem a!

ya to be fair tho prem a 2 years ago was a strong division if i remember but look i think it is fair the aul have it prem a and premier for the golden boot there the best two division we have
Of course they're the 2 strongest we have they're the 2 highest leagues!! There's not a whole pile of strength in the league you posted to be honest. Much much harder to score goals in prem against defences like Killummey park and coachford had. Also knockavilla were no push overs, castleview were the only poor side in prem that year. No matter what way you look at it prem is a far harder league to score goals in. Look at the amount of goals conceded outside the top 4 in that league!! Kilreen certainly wouldn't have scored 80 goals in prem that year.

one of the best fishishs to a prem a season ever playoff and all differnet aul 2 years laters with team folding etc etc shame really would think they should join prem and prem a and make one big league ?!?!

Also one of the best prem finishes if you don't remember. Much better teams involved in prem finish too. In theory combining both leagues is a good idea but the problem for me would be that it would be very disheartening for all prem a teams as they would only fight to stay up. At least with them in their own league its competitive for the most part and when a team achieve promotion it's a massive boost for players and they can attract some players on that success like glenthorn have this year. That way they can be competitive in prem rather than trying to lure players with just the appeal of a relegation battle. If leagues were combined there would be a fair few cricket scores throughout the season which is not good for anyone. That's my 2 cents!

I wouldn't say that. There's some very good players scattered throughout a few lower division teams alright but most teams down there for a reason. I would say grattan won't be anywhere near them. They're ok but nowhere near that level, not much going on for them player wise really other than marky cans. Park and kilreen are packed with top players

Killer B I agree with get in the hole. You must be looking at a differant gratten team to me. Their not in the same league as killreen and park if you ask me. Although the advantage they mit have is that they'll get their games played early unlike park and killreen who's s seasons could drag on

But grattan will be waiting for one of the big teams to slip because the pressure is on park and Kilreen to catch up on games

There's only one fella on here really trying to build up grattan and it's because he works with a fella on the grattan squad. Killer on the other hand probably knows most of them so that's fair enough really. 2 of the lads working together always posting about each others teams!! Easy to spot the 2!!

That shouldn't matter why shud you change your home fixture to suit other teams you wouldn't do it for your local competition, I remember blarney street had to travel on a sataurday to play crumlin so why should it be different for them is it because there coming from Dublin, if tables were turned they wouldn't do it for cork teams simple as.
