GK brendan keating DEFENDERS j murray d holland g rice w hogan midfielders h coakly j murphy (when fit) v lonergan g o connor FORWARDS: C MCCARTHY C STACK there would be my starting 11
Stack a great player up front, but, not being too biased I'd start with nala and jeffers. When them two link up it's frightening and great to watch. Each to their own opinion though. We'll have to wait and see.

I think Micky will play 442 but I'd like to see a 343 of
Keating
Barrett and Murray (marking centre backs )
Dineen sweeper
Coakley
Murphy
Lonergan
O Connor
Stack ( right side of the front 3 )
McCarthy ( highest of the front 3 )
Greaney ( left side of the front 3 )
Going with an attacking team with Plenty power and pace to open up turners cross and pull limerick all over the place

It's all about opinion, but I would love to see stack and nala up top. Pace skill and eye for goal they would frighten defender's.

Ian fitz is the best keeper in the Aul.
Ian is also a quality keeper , not much between either of the lads but if you have power and pace and want to play at a high tempo I think keating releases the ball alot faster !! Just my opinion after all

Didn't Donal get slated on here last year for playing Vinny at right bk and some of ye still have him either at right bk or the right side of d 3 at the bk he's 1 of the best midfielders in cork aul I would have the lad hogan from kilreen at right bk hes a very good defender

Yes all about opinions lads but vinny ain't a right back centre midfielder all day long and for me Murphy and long are to similar of a player to play together

Supporters on the line need to be controlled aswell by the club. So the glen should rightly be punished which they will.

Was at the kilreen castleview match today. Good battle between two handy sides. Kilreen missing a few from the first 11. Castleview looked very strong had 2 felas (numbers 8 & 9) who were very very good have seen these lads a few times now playing senior aswell and they were on the ball today from the off! Scott Calnan had a good game for kilreen, and the 2 Castleview cb's kept nala quiet. kilreen missed some real sitters (1 from 3 yards !!) Castleviews winner was a wonder strike from near the half way line.............. But it was the Kilreen player who beat his own keeper unfortunately. Mention also goes too the kilreen winger Kelleher for his free kick! A bullet.
the person in who so called abused referee was never associated with the glen never played neither did he train just tags along to games..i hope the aul wont punish glen over that
Doesn't look good for the club when a game was abandoned a few weeks back with their second team when their player threatened the ref!! We played up there a few years back and the game had to be stopped cos a fella walked on to the pitch with a bottle of bulmers drunk, wanting to have a kick around. To be fair they were all telling him to f**k off. Some fellas you actually can't control, what are you going to do put security at the gate?

Fierce backing for the Glen on here am I the only one thinking that if it happens every week that it's not all the refs fault and there's a major issue that the aul seem to be afraid to deal with .

Every club has a bad day at the office but Glen Celtics name seems to be headlines every week at the moment for all the wrong reasons. For a club representing the top division, this has to be worrying for the genuine Glen lads and the AUL.

What was the ref suppose to check every body at the game. Unfortunately this is happening at glens games too often,I know it's very hard to control who goes to there home game's,but when Ur away from home u should be able to control it. Don't bring the individual with you.
Macroom v springfield called off this morning.waterlogged pitch.

I think Anne has to address the club as a hole as chair person of the club !! Some sort of code has to be brought in , on and off the field for both players and spectators representing the glen

Unfortunately its a problem not of the clubs making, but the clubs responsibility none the less. I heard over the weekend that this chap threatened a ref last season too from the Glen line - is this the case? To be fair lads, Mitchelstown is a long way for a guy who has nothing to do with the club to go. He must have some link - even as a fan.
The Glen club is, as pointed out, suffering as a club from the actions of individuals. Its upto the club to act because the huge achievements over the last 5 years are being tarnished in the eyes of many.

The dogs on the street know his son plays with the team. How much more of a connection does a fella have to have. I agree with Horse about all the good work being undone.
