Good player vinny. Don't think he would get in up there though. Massive culture shock too going from glen where training is non existent to going up to work under billy. Lots of lads just not cut out for working that hard every week. Takes fierce commitment. Nice lad, hope it does work out for him, that's if there is any truth in it at all.

oh there legs in the story all right and didnt vinny play senior football at a young age for leeds ?? plus he was schooled well up in leeds as youngester, so im sure he will do pretty well

Fairly irrelevant point to make really. The way he was coached under age has no relevance as to whether or not he has the head for that level of intensity at training week in week out. It's not a case of just showing up for a game at the weekend up there. Also every senior club out there has given countless young fellas game time to see if they are good enough, how many of these actually go on to play with top senior clubs. That's just a general point, no stab at vinny. Hope it works out for him. Far more talented players than him have gone up there and left as they don't have the right head for that intensity.

I have to agree with Killer. You can tell the difference a mile off between a player who has had proper schoolboy coaching at one of the established clubs and one who hasnt. I get your point about it maybe being lost by early to mid 20s, but at least he has had some exposure.

Attitude towards constant intense training is what I'm talking about not ability to play ball. Coaching under age does not give you the right head towards training hard, that's just something you either have or you don't. Again this is just a general point, nothing to do with vinny

I think we are on the same point. The mental side that has to come from within needs to be added to your football in your mid late teens. Lifestyle choices too play a huge part

Vinny def has the skill and has an abundance of ability. Its up to him and no one else to make it out in Rockmount. Best of luck Vin.

Sure why would he want them to leave this year when they have played 6 and won 6 playing park B today at home so should make it 7 from 7! I no you want to play in the best leagues agaonst the best teams but winning is everything at the end of the day and it looks like they are cruising to the league title! Not saying he is right or wrong but thats the way i see it but all the players up there are big enough to make up there own mind and if they want to play premier so be it if they dont then best of luck either way!

What ever about vinny leaving the glen, what about Gary Nolan telling all the b team not to go playing With the a team. I remember years ago he wrecked balyvolane club as well.
I think he's a good player, think anyway. Then again he's only playing 2nd division. More trouble than he's worth though if you ask me

I watched the Blarney street v pearse game today not a bad game with conditions poor wind/hailstone etc but I must say killer b you surely must be embarrassed when you went down like the way you did as if you you we're shot and you we're lucky yourself to stay on the pitch with a few late challenges, I also thought the sending off for blarney street was a bit harsh just my opinion on it lads, pearse had 1 cleared off the line and so did blarney street so I say a draw was probably fare result.

As far as aul rule book if they give 2 walkovers in a season they will be removed from league ? I'm open to correction on this . Looks like Aul trying to pull a fast one on Innishvilla !!! Saying game off !!! Wonder will that game be rescheduled !!!!

11 games called off yesterday due to frosty pitches! Do you not think that with he backlog of fixtures that all games on Sunday should be pushed back until 2pm to give the pitch a chance to thaw out. Why Kilumney changed our game to killeady on Thursday is beyond me. Maybe they knew that they would only have 8 players and there was a better chance of it being called off out there. I personally hope they get relegated.
