would you not think the aul&msl would push sunday morning game out til the afternoon in the cold snap and give pitches time to thaw out look at park travelled up for north cork bit of a trek to be fair only to find out the pitch is like a rock that just have been called yesterday knowing the street game was off for the same reason sure

Just my opinion

Some people have jobs killer. Can't just drop everything. The home team should have called that game off well before then

It's a pity it had to come to this, but this was coming a long time. A few things have not been right up there this year. In my opinion it started well enough for them but went downhill when Donal ( manager ) left . I wonder if a full time manager was installed straight away would that have helped. I know they will lose at least 4-5 of the current squad and this prob will lead to the A team being pulled and the B team brought up to Premier.(will they be happy with that ) and the C team up to 2nd division. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's the way it works. Anyway I think Glen have a lot of hard work to do as a CLUB to rebuild again. They are well capable of it and I hope they do. Shame to see any club struggle like this, but its not the first and it wont be the last time we hear of things like this.

I'm sure the glen will be bounce back. On another note anyone know when the cork all team are in action again?

people are often quick to knock mayfields astro but as soon as the weather turns bad theirs a big panic into booking it whether its for matches or training with all due respect killer what astro pitch do your club own exactly..i was involved in Mayfield juniors and it was very useful for our club for years and will be in coming years..

I don't think Everton use them do they sparks?

Mayfield got a grant to relay the astro so obviously they don't think it's good enough themselves?

Any more news on the Glen Celtic situation?

I think Everton have Youths and/or 17s there. I think the point being made is that none of us without our own pitches and/or astros should really comment on those who have. Even less so when its all over the papers that they are fixing it!
