Those Bohs figures are interesting. I wonder if the rise is somehow linked to them not being on TV as much as they were this time last year. Still think they're attendances are a bit low for a side that's won the league a few times on the trot.

They've only had one home game so far, it's a bit early to be making deductions about trends.
so far we've only had one home game in the league this season which is what that figure is based on. The estimate there is quite low compared to what was given in the press and estimated by the fans who were actually there. They said it was in the 2900-3200 range. If we can keep around the 2800 mark for the season i would be delighted to be honest.

skstu, do you have any idea if season ticket holders are counted in that number?

You're asking if season ticket holders are counted in the unofficial guesses at the attendance?

Ah, unofficial no, but in official attendances are they counted?

They are counted all 2700 of them when 65% of this seasons income makes up next seasons budget.....think on!

theres a members stile where the members who attend are accounted for. Based on that my assumption would be that only those who attend are included in any official or unofficial figures. We have nearly 500 members now, up from 250-300 a few years ago.

800 members and season ticket holders combined according to the most recent figures I`ve seen.
must be about 600 members then. Good stuff.

And only 200 season ticket holders? Thats pretty bad.. imo

Each member is also a season ticket holder i.e. gets free entry.
How is 800 people paying up front bad? Not very many clubs could boast the same. In fact could any bar Rovers?
While we would have a bigger total for members+season ticket holders, our membership doesnt include season tickets yet.

what MICLS said.
Plus the fact that we get any season ticket holders at all (as a members club where admission to most games is part of it) is a good thing.
Smarten up.

Agree!
Just out of interest, whats the price for annual membership & the price for a season ticket (without becoming a member)

Adult Season Ticket 250 Euro

Plus a variety of rates for Junior ST holders (under 16) 100 Euro and Junior Gypsy (under 12) at only 50 Euro a year (UCD take note), and OAP`s at 100 Euro a year.

Really? That's outstanding.
How many of those do the club have to honour from last year? Bit of a hit to take.

Just under 400 ST's were honoured, still you're right, that was a big hit for the club.Almost £80k down beofre the start of the season.
Hopefully we can get near the 2,000 mark for the Athlone game on friday but I somehow doubt it.

I'd say there was around 2,800 - 3,000 at Oriel Park tonight. Definitely more than the Sunday afternoon game against Drogheda two weeks ago, which was aided tonight by a healthy travelling St. Pat's crowd.

About 150/200 empty seats in the Jodi last night at most, so 2,500-2,600.
Had to sit beside the Sligo fans, fair play to them , they really got behind their team particularly after the sending off.
Game was quite good quality when it was 11 v 11, sending off ruined it. I reckon that Sligo will be push Bohs all the way this season.

Quite a decent atmosphere on our side but with the open terrace and a bit of wind, the noise didn't travel. Good game too

Looked about 150 + RTE`s Tommy O Gorman`("what about the children Roy") so an all star attendance as usual.,, great turn-out. Lots of them in the bars at half time.

We normally bring a decent crowd to Dalymount, the few times I was in Dalyer last season we brought about the same as that.
What I dont understand is why we are always stuck at the end of the Jodi and never put in the shed?
