Interested to see what the Cork - Derry attendence was, they've had poor crowds recently with midweek games and giants like mervue coming to town, so hopefully it shot up a lot tonight.

1,500 tops Bohs fans at final. Their stand was barely half full. The rest were Pat's. Poor show from the champions.

3,896 was a dissapointing crowd for the Setanta cup final, considering both sets of fans hadn't far to travel,
considering it was an all Dublin cup final (a rarity),considering neither team had won it before, considering Pats hadn't
won a trophy for a while,considering it was a nice evening,considering it wasn't live on T.V.

Setanta cup hasn`t exactly attracted decent crowds over the last couple of seasons, just under four thousand is a reasonable crowd for a competition that has to be radically reformatted to keep it going. What was the crowd in Cork last year?
Bohs sold 1900 out of two thousand allocation as far as I know.
Didn`t make it along myself due to family commitments so can`t comment on the athmospere.

Bon appetit! Is that what Ryan Guy was trying to achieve with the elaborate throw ins yesterday?
Anyway , such was the importance of the game that Setanta don`t even mention the final of their own competition on their web site today, from what I can see.

583 was the official attendance at the Harps v Longford game.
Bohs sold 1900 out of two thousand allocation as far as I know.
Wonder why 500 people bought tickets and didn't turn up?

There was 2,500 pats fans there. More than any other game this year (home or away). Considering the price was €20, considering there was only 400 kids tickets made, available, then our crowd is OK. Sure we'd have liked more but such is life.
Dodge, there were 2000 tickets given to Bohs and over 1800 were sold. Disappointing we couldnt shift the 2000 obviously.
My understanding was there were 2000 given to Pats too. Did you get an additional allocation after you sold your initial 2000 or were they "on the day" sales?
ON the day sales. People were asked who they supported as they bought tickets. if they said nobody, they got tickets for your side (this is from the event controller)
All freebies and sponsors tickets were for the main stand (ie the one Bohs were in).
There's aboslutely no way there was 1,800 Bohs fans there yesterday. None whatsoever.
I'm not "gloating" or any of that rubbish as no LOI side can ever gloat about crowds. Ours have been brutal in the past and will be brutal again. I was just replying to your man above about how disappointed he was in the vcrowd who attended a game that meant nothing to him.

Pats fans slagging about crowds:eek: We were singing champions in the bar, Pats fans were saying "we had an extra 100 fans", til someone pointed out that was your whole fan base. Pats have a lot of fans in Tallaght, game was on your door step unlike this...

As you can see Pats must have had 1900 day trippers given only 100 fans turned up 15 minutes away from your own ground. 3 fans in russia.

no, i know youre not gloating. I was told the figure of 1800 by someone within the club who would have no reason to lie to me.
There's always one quadruple. Fair play on missing the point entirely

What are you talking about? All that was said was that Bohs had a poor crowd for a final, No one is gloating every team in the league has had or still has poor crowds, it was just an observation

The thread is about attendances and people posted about the crowd figures. Not one Pats fan posted anything remotely gloating here

Im not sure about our attendance at our game against Drogs.
But from a rough guesstimation I would say about 1900.
Drogs brought a decent crowd, I would say something like 100, could be less was hard to see them from where I was positioned.

Ya, between 1800 and 1900 at the our game. Good crowd from Drogs.
Fair play to them they were still jumping around the place and signing when they were 4 or 5 down, and good crack with them in the pub after. fair play.

Dont know why that was given as a figure.
I went through the season ticket gate with about 8 of my friends.
We all walked straight through as usual,, no counting being done and the stile wasnt working, not that it makes much difference as we are never counted.
