Guys do the teams this weekend get compensation from the fai for having to move the matches to the next day. Looks like most matches had reduced attendances this weekend because of the other match arranged by Delaney on Fri night

Bohs-Shamrock Rovers 3800 (estimate)

There was no where near that many. 2 blocks of the Jodi were completely empty. Rovers sold all 1,100 tickets they got

Leinster's Magners League final being on 15 minutes' walk away took a good bit from our crowd. I don't know why we couldn't have played earlier in the day to avoid the clash. Dundalk brought a good crowd with them in fairness.

Id guess about 600 at Hunky Dorys park which ironically had no hunky dorys to be bought anywhere maybe a drogs fan would be better at judging the crowds up there.
Wasn't at the game but it was probably more than 600.

The shop under the stand was probably selling hunky dorys no?

we'll the new stand looked fairly full and it holds 1500

824 official attendance, including season ticket holders. There may have been more people in the ground, (not everyone enters through the main turnstile area, and there were juvenile teams who didn't have to pay in) but certainly not more than 900 in total.

Also, if you are sitting in the new stand, or standing in the old stand, you may think that there is a large crowd around you and therefore overestimate the total attendance. The best way to judge the crowd is from the city end of the ground.

Just from the tv, the home stand at Dalymount looked like it had about 1,800 in it. 1,800 + 1,100 = 2,900.

Moving to Saturday was a disaster alright. Definitely cost us around 600 people. That said, it was 600 less who saw that rubbish so it's not all bad....

Poor crowd in Drogheda last night, no more than 1000 I'd say with about 400 Pats.

Wexford and Longford should hold their heads in shame.

and so should you easy to give out about attendances but harder to suggest something to help. wexford tried a move to sunday football that has failed and brought attendances down back to Friday night should hopefully make a difference along with recent results

Attendances are definitely up since the move back to Fridays! Mervue on Sunday afternoon is hardly a thrilling prospect, the way things are at the moment here over 200 is about as much as you can hope for.

Some are more pathetic than others.

Is Bohs 2068 average any less pathetic than Salthills 146??

Is Limericks 667 less pathetic than Longfords 253??

The whole league is a jokeshop crowdwise and I'll tell you a better one some of those First Division figures from my own experience are pure fantasy.

The only thing more pathetic than the crowds is people using their pathetic crowds for one up man ship.

The day Limerick are starting to attract 2-3000 regularly and Salthill are still on 50, then I might start vribbing about clubs.

It's not ever going to be an issue though.

Just over a thousand Ciaran, around 50 rovers fans up for the game, small attendance as Derry were at home Saturday night, Tuesday night and also this Friday for the cup game against Bray so difficult to expect people to pay 3 times in a week, and season tickets only valid for one of those games which was the league game against Waterford

Hopefully the new Club Promotion Officer will be appointed soon and start promoting the club in the area. Attendances obviously not helped by recent 6-0 & 5-1 defeats.
