It's awful to be part of. I am expecting and at this stage accepting the committees lack of anything! They've ruined this league. All the money down the drain and the final money now going to Castleview. Summer soccer awaits and you can imagine that first season. There will be games called off via pigeon notes. It's not the same league most of us came in to many moons ago.

They show interest in the same 2/3 teams all the time and the rest or the money cows for um
Anyone that was on that committee when the money went "missing" should have been removed from their position. And now we're left with a shockingly run league, dying clubs, no structure and a bunch of mental patients in charge of the asylum.

We brought a motion forward around 2014/15 at a agm that the clubs should vote on who’s on the aul committee and that a person could only serve 3 years in a particular position before reelection. There was a huge backlash against us from clubs that the aul had gathered to go against it. And here’s where we are now , we’ve lost half the clubs in the aul in 10 years.

Sad to hear that. Surely if it happened today there is no way any club apart from the obvious would support them. Something has to be done

Correct, some waste of a 90 mins for Grattan in their game. Moogela are doing alright so a small workout for Village you’d imagine. As for Knocka you’d be assuming a win alright.

I do say salt and pepper is looking after both clubs looking after his buddies because them pitches are playable no games should be called off this week like BIG clubs getting favours as usual

There was a post on the AUL Twitter feed last week explaining that was the last weekend of games until the first weekend of January.
On a separate note Shandon only had 9 players on the app at the weekend are they in trouble or is this a mistake?

If they played with 9 players fair play as I said sat the two norries Knocka and grattan pulled fast ones over not having players.

To be fair if some one is potentially getting a year long ban the player in question has committed a serious offence that requires this level of punishment.
They really only have them selves to blame if the length of the ban is true.
what offence did he commit?
Paul lost control off the game that's what happened... and I was at the game he should not be allowed ref a game again ..I was right next to him and cuff having few wards.. i don't understand... a 12 month ban for what ..he was not giving players a chance to talk our extra chance off a foul ..just yellow card after yellow card ...cuff is human like us all and he don't even get a say its ridiculous he's young man that practically 2 seasons out for Notting..could be turn on a young man mental health ...all lads want is game ball keep ya going... now because off a reff that lost control off a game probably never play ball again..and if he deserves it I be first to say but by God this is crazy

Who without telling us the full story what happened??
Something doesnt add up I presume it was the game vs Coachford the app shows a yellow card in the 67th minute he then gets subbed straight afterwards he then gets a second yellow card in the 70th minute whilst no longer on the field of play?
The second yellow card is most likely for back chat or something a bit more serious.
Silly but does happen.
The player gets a game ban two if he is unlucky.
But to get 12 months which is 20 to 30 games something really serious must have happened?
how often do you hear of a 12 month ban?
Something in all of this doesn’t add up.

I remember 4 seasons back the same ref abandoned a game down there between two same teams with 4 mins left a clock a certain coachford keeper gave a clatter in back of head to Knocka players the Knocka player gave him one back and the ref called game 3 officials of Aul at the game everyone seen what happened and ref put in report he never seen what keeper did and match was giving to coachford Knocka hit with big fine player got few game ban and I repeat again 3 aul members at the game seen everything hahaha and coachford didn’t receive fine or and bans you got to love the Aul.

I played in the game and the keeper in question thought he was untouchable and he hit the wrong player that day and he got his comeuppance over it running like a scolded cat, the ref in question has a biased against northside teams for years and you can see from games recently it shows it which is ridiculous fellas training twice a week paying script and going out sat/Sunday to play a match n you see certain refs pull up and you say to yourself is it even pointless logging off because you know your gonna get robbed, it shouldn't be like this but unfortunately it is

Same person that threw a cup at a child out the cross..at grattan and coachford game but it's them get the respect because the don't like north side but surly ..an appeal has to be looked everyone deserves there say
12 months is madness. What could he have possibly said to the ref to deserve that. JC got 8 months for a tirade of abuse at a ref on a pitch and then his carry on against the committee online. I mean there's no way what Cuff could have said in the space of 30 seconds could come near that.
No point in appealing, costs a fortune and the appeals committee are friends with the AUL. It's just corruption and nothing else. Clubs should seriously consider a boycott of these corrupt dictators. Is all money with them, I was at a meeting years ago when the €5 yellow cards came in and there was someone made a great point. Most yellows are for mouthing off or dissent and this guy said that the fines money should go to charity and not the AUL. They were able to thrive to the tune of 250k before the introduction of that fine.
Jaysus they boil my blood daily at this point. Cuff won't kick a ball again now.

It's either clubs come together and bring a motion of no confidence as according to the rules. Or, leave as a club. It's dying.
There's no good standads or propper practice. Fixtures and postponements a joke. Coverage outside of Barry is terrible. Appeals shocking. Meetings brutal. Online awful. Pitches standards awful. Communication non existant. No delay in bookng hotels and spending our money for booze trips. Why do we bother?
If we could go to the MSL, we would. Maybe the Shipping League.

But the AUL have nothing todo with this suspension.
Was it not the AUL disciplinary committee that gave him 12 months?

I could be open to correction but I’m confident as this was the Munster Junior Cup.
This suspension was handed down by the Munster FA.
Lads don't matter who made decision it's absolutely ? wrong y should he not appeal I.. if it was me I'd pay my own appeal lot facts to be looked at and 1 is the fact paul is wrong onse again..its crazy how if a reff do t like a team our player the can write what the want

If im been honest weather it's the player/club money to appeal it will be a waist of money because the mjc/aul will never go against the referee's because if they ever did go against them I'd imagine referee's would go on strike so I'd say keep yer money, the appeal fee probably €500/€1000 and you will get same outcome which is ridiculous that you can't defend yourself wether your right or wrong you should still be giving that opportunity instead of going off biased referee's.

It will be appealed to upper authority in this case it would be the FAI.
Who if he has received notification of a 12 month ban he will also have been told why.
WHO what are the Munster FA suspending him for?
It will be there in black and white.

Cuff played since against City Wanders. I assume this ban was only handed down recently? If it was the MFA that handed it down then I highly doubt it will be overturned if I’m honest whether it’s right or wrong. Sure didn’t they overturn AUL Decision for Grattan points last year so I imagine once they have a ruling there firm on it. The AUL cannot be at fault for this suspension might I add with all the blame it’s getting

Don’t think anyone blaming Aul for it Mfa in charge here but think teams annoyed with the way Aul roll over everytime for referees especially the one in question I be saying it for years when Aul call teams to meeting they should refuse to go simple reason you go out to turners cross some people take time off work to go out and they never believe you or back you they stick with ref report and hit teams with fines the referees organisation say jump and the Aul say how high knowing fact for years.

I’d say he won’t think much of it Play they played Glenthorne before city wanderers lads said that was his automatic ban so Knocka all good must say tho loosing Cuff is massive for Knocka but bringing Cian Leonard in is like dropping 20 and finding 50 hahaha jammy out.

It’s a weird situation lads said other night ref reports said he spat as he walked towards him didn’t connect with him but felt like it was in his direction now no coachford player seen it no official from Aul that were at the game seen it but Knocka were told by Aul member not to appeal it they be wasting 1000 euro that’s what it is to appeal cause the MFA won’t go against ref word so looks like the ref has screwed another player for whole season and the players is adamant he didn’t do it but looks like season over early.

Iv nothing against no Ref but no matter how bad/decent/good they are the MFA will never go against them, especially on the alleged incident in Question I don’t even think if opposition or an AUL official stepped forward vouching for the player it wud even matter which if it didn’t happen is a shame as post said previously here players training all year n givin up der time to play
It's been appealed .I think cuff is right weather it's 10 grand it's the fact paul lieing... all paul was short that day was a squad car ffs lol

It depends on the Circumstances.
WHO how can you disprove the referees report?
Obviously the Munster FA believe what is in the report hence such a serious suspension.
Is the suspension for allegedly spitting in the direction of the referee?
And if not what is the suspension for?
