Great game tonight between view and village and that FAI is a joke hearing most teams are close to giving walk overs over players not signed

I was at that game myself Cathedral were bare from what i seen and if im been honest they had one or two fellas who didnt match the App ?? like alot of Clubs there probaly waiting on registrations to go in.

Great to see both the teams and others do the live score its handy out if everyone uses it.

I took in the Cathedral game too tonight, and they 100% stuck to the rules. They had 3 players on the line that weren't registered so they weren't in the squad. Lesson learned from last season.

Grattview on the other hand, blatantly didn't bother following the rules. Gavin Duggan came on in a Morgan Griffin mask and Jamie Carroll must be an identical twin of Christopher Oliver.

There should be an amnesty for the first few games where anyone submitted on the system with a club is considered registered.

Huge game for us tonight against a very much fancied village utd team that are expecting to push for honours in all competitions but they will want to make sure all there players are up to date on the fai app because I'll be out with my little black book and pen tonight going through it with a fine tooth comb and will be banging in an objection so any club that we face this season ye are after been warned. Hon the view.

I’m sure others might be inclined to take your advice also

Very messy situation; it seems the app can't be followed for a few weeks yet. Zero lead taken from the Aul in sorting it; sure it will be a he said she said situation trying to prove anything. Hard to imagine any team playing illegal players in a derby sounds like fellas getting used to the app making mistakes.

Na sure you can check it all now. Download the FAI connect app, press the star, click players and type in the name. It'll show you who's registered or not. Simple system used by idiots.

Its the use of the App im talking about. As you said about fellas coming on wrongly if you look at the App Cathedral had a full bench but made no Subs and i didnt see a full bench there either unless they were not togged out. They cant be named on the bench if they arnt registered with the club. Its messy in the way if this was to be objected then both will argue the others were wrong.

Shame really as its the football that should matter not an app no club got support on.

It was a mixed bag tonight we were cagey and so were village but was expected on first league game draw was fair result but do think village over stepped the mark on few occasions with referee but nothing unusual there as they are known for it but salt n pepper will look after them and so will captain colon, but some shock up in grattan park as fellas said before grattan will be found out by play in ryanair football and so be it today all but confirmed what fellas have been saying in previous seasons.

Was up in Grattan tonight, thought both sides played well donoghmore took their chances and grats didn’t , grats got caught on the break for 2 goals and other was a peno. Great win for donoghmore, definitely a side to watch, from my view it seemed all their team was extremely young so they must’ve signed a few new fellas as baller said. Great league campaign ahead I’ve a feeling we’ll see more shocks with everyone beating everyone

Agree probaly the best premier over the last 15-20 years but in my view the rivalry not the same as it was going back then alot of northside teams now are going against each other but going back then there was none of that it was like every club was going to battle like it was like there lifes depending on it think loyalty will play huge factor with players in the next 6weeks results will tell alot where players will end up before season really starts in 1st week of October.

A lot of new faces at Cathedral this year with a complete rebuild, about 4 of last years squad still there.
Castleview had a good side out last night and if they can keep that side playing week in week out they will challenge for Div 1

From what I watched, both teams gave as good as they got bar handbags in the second half. Great game played with the right spirit, don’t think village overstepped and castleview either.

I understand that clubs are finding it difficult but teams were given a years warning this was coming so every club should have their own house in order.

Ok you will have a few players that come in late but unfortunately as it being run by the FAI so naturally you will have to wait longer this time of the year.

But if what we’re told is true and what Castlview B did last night in a derby was pure stupidity the app will confirm all its there for the whole country to see objections were always going to follow.

If you are unfortunate enough and you are waiting on a registration of a player you just have to leave him out.

Fair is only fair because in all likelihood you will get caught and only have yourselves to blame.

Totally agree if team cheat they should be punished and I think this is where Aul need to be on top of it two if the prove is there then reverse the points I know of objection last year went on 6 weeks that’s unacceptable to teams aswel.

This didnt age well, not even 24 hours, its a shame the club didnt ensure they upheld the standards they want to hold other clubs to playing multiple unregistered players, lots of clubs waiting on registrations so no excuse, its just already a known fact Castleview played illegal players and will have to accept the consequences

I read it aswell the mighty shipping league was there last choice as MSL told them where to go.

They said” in retrospect they were surprised the AUL didn’t do more to hang onto such an established club”

Did you ever hear such rubbish did they want the red carpet put out for them.

Good time Charlie’s their facebook content would be gone to pot if they weren’t wining something and they would be back to showing excel sheets of who could do the most rollie pollies in a minute.

Instead they headed for something handy in the shipping league.

"It's great to see a league reward its clubs by offering its players the opportunity to play for its representative team. I know this cannot be done without a huge financial outlay but it does give the best players an opportunity to display their talents on the big stage."

Think it’s time to accept poor refereeing will be seen quite frequent in all CBL MSL AUL now at this stage. There isn't exactly a Que of young refs stepping forward. Majority of refs don’t mean to be bad and obviously a few are carrying an ego but we still need them with all the fixtures. It would be worse if we had only half the games due to a shortage of refs.

Knocks and Shandon tonight should be a decent game on paper but haven’t heard much of shandons progress since last season.

Two games now tonight had no teams on connect app. No final scores either. The games went ahead because the league put up the results. Wonder what the reason for that was and will there be a punishment? If teams know they don't have to they won't use it.

The app is simple to use and clubs should nominate a club member to use it and go live too.. updates on the game is great for people who can’t make it or go to other games

To the best of my knowledge the app is now the match card , so it should be enforced.. I can understand some clubs who have very few volunteers and maybe finding it hard to do the app and do the match as a manager

But if it’s the match card it has to be done.
Sure if teams say we can’t use the app they can put anyone they want out on the pitch no matter how big or small the club is.
