Completely missed that! Georgie-boy gone to Brunei (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brunei_DPMM_FC) - to a team only recently unbanned by FIFA. How fittingly random.
Their website (http://www.eteamz.com/dpmmfc/) has the Zayed trial on it too.

Gavin Brennan to Mons.
Funny I didnt see you at our player of the year awards dance on Sat night! Our chairman said that when Roddy came to the club the Brennan quotient had been doubled and he asked for him to double it again for 2012. I did say to Ryan to talk Gavin and Killian into joining us so will leave it in his hands. :D

Heard that one too. Think he'd be a good signing for us, decent centre half.

Think this will be the first year that I truly enjoy this thread. Not particularly worried about any of our top players leaving and assume we will add to our squad quite significantly.
Can those who quoted Christy Fagan and Gavin Kavanagh as rumours to us gimme some sort of basis on the rumour? Not that I don't believe you or demand an internet link for everything I read, just always nice to know how likely a rumour is to actually happen.

No. Go away. You can't have him. Or Murray. Take Gary Dunphy, he's brilliant :D Not overly concerned about Browne leaving, was woeful last season tbh!

Meant to put down Killian aswell actually!
Heard it over the weekend, fairly logical move for him really.

I'm a friend of a friend of a Bohs player, he heard twas possible. I wouldn't know the ins and outs tbh.
Had heard Eoin Doyle to Shamrock Rovers aswell.
Also, big reshuffle at Pats if all the player rumours floating around are true!

Can't imagine it is a particularly logical move for him. He had trials for Championship clubs in the summer. Would not make sense for him to go to a LOI relegation candidate. If he does stay in Ireland expect it to be to one of the challengers and expect the likelihood that other Brennans may follow.

Anything particular linking him with us though or is it just putting 2 and 2 together and getting us?

Would Derry, Sligo or Shamrock want him??
Bit of a stretch to call Mons relegations candidates aswell.
Depends on his own personal ambition I suppose really, if he wants to pick up a handy few quid not trying very hard in his families own personal team Monaghan is a good shout, if he has some ambition probably not alright.

I don't think Shamrock Rovers would want him because of the massive pool of players they'll be able to choose from, but I think Derry and Sligo would definitely like him at the right wage. The batch below that of us, Cork and Pats would almost definitely love to get him too. I don't necessarily think Monaghan will go down either, don't get me wrong (we don't even know how many go down automatically) but I do think they'll be in there with UCD and Drogs in those at the bottom of the bookies estimations at the start of the year.

Linked with Cork City:
Dan Murray (Shamrock Rovers), Kevin Murray (Waterford), Matthew Blinkhorn (Sligo), Christy Fagan (Bohs).
Wasn't too impressed by what I saw of Blinkhorn last Sunday. FAO Bohs fans, what's Fagan like?
Also, Graham Cummins has gone on trial at Wolves.

it would be great if we could keep the two brennans nver mind getting gavin (the drog utd lad) and lets be honest killian would be unreal!!!!
that said the first year we went up we brought in john coady (who had two excellent seasons with us), mick burn (who had a great first season) and talks broke down with paul osam................... so you never know...my objective would be to keep the team (i've heard we'll just re-sign the whole squad ) and then see at the july window....., which i think is very fair to all concerned...but it would be vital to keept , sava, collins, byrne, brennan x2,and fabio..

Have heard a lot about players leaving pats but anyone actually heard of players linked with us yet, I'm assuming it's due to uncertainty over Mahon staying. I think we should give gill the job on his own and let him build his team
As has been said, Kavo is over at Millwall since yesterday on trial
He;s heading over next week.

Fagan has had a great year for Bohs , brilliant forward who got 11 goals for Bohs in 2011 .
Have to say from what ive seen of him he is a very exciting player on the ball and himself and Anto Flood formed one of the best strike partnerships in the league.

Now that would be a first. Connor falls from a low height and lands on his feet... at a higher level.
Surely, of all clubs, Dundalk would steer clear?

I would'nt believe anything that The GAArgus would come out with!! Just pulling names from a hat,and they are that clueless they threw Connor's name in as well
Most of their reports on DFC matches are copied & pasted from the website.
Pay no heed to that "rumour" :silly:

Fagan started season at Bohs very well but injury early on happered his season and he never really got going again.
Unfortunately only partnered Bisto on a small number of occassions later in season as Nutsey favoured one up front

The Argus said that the Connor and Henderson had applied for the job! But with your sensational interpretation of the report Dunny you could get a job there ;p
The Argus is sh*te and all names and speculation have been lifted straight from Orielweb.
