Has 1500 for Limerick (agrees to here), 1250 for Kilkenny (going to put that in instead of the 1000 here) and that's it as far as I can see.

And on that topic, apparently 323 was the official crowd for UCD-Longford last night, compared to the 410 posted earlier. Obviously, the difference is people like me, who would have been there but gone in for free as programme sellers. I'll go with the official figure though.323 is simply wrong, official or not. If official attendances don't include everyone at the game, they're useless.

But there's no point comparing our unofficial crowds to, say, Pat's official crowds. You have to choose one or the other, otherwise it's not a fair comparison. I've no bother upping our figure to the amount that were at the game, but then we have to go back over all the official figures and change those too.

No dodgey, you`re got your dates wrong, for the first time we went down (1998/99) we lost something like the last 8 and finished bottom and crowds def did drop to around this level for the last 3 or 4 months.

Also I`m remember many a sunday watching pats v dundalk in the 80`s in both harolds cross and the old richmond with 5 or 6 hundred in attendance being the norm.

I was in Harold Cross, pats verus Rovers early ninties and a crowd off about 300 hundred was there. Tom the Baldie Conway scored for Rovers game ended one one.

Athlone Town vs Finn Harps attendance was around 450. Nice crowd from Harps down as well. Hope they enjoyed their trip.

As it was confirmation day on both sides of town on Saturday this would have taken a few hundred of the crowd

Will post the official attendance when I hear it during the week.

Extremely poor attandance at our game Vs. Waterford-500 at most I'd say. About 10 Waterford fans.

What's happening with your floodlights. Any update ? A 6pm kick off on a Saturday is not a great time to be playing. It's bound to effect your attendances.

My Sentiments exactly Frank...

Also there was 53 Galway fans in the "singing" Section.

There was also 2 families and a few others down the far left of the red seated stand.
Around 65-70 in Total.

Shocked by the crowd at Bray.I know 800 was posted here but id be very surprised if it was over 650. Like our game against Shams fair less at it than our 1st division encounters.

On a brighter note the Pitch was brilliant so credit to all at Bray easily the best we have played on so far but its surroundings lets it down big time.

both sides of camac bursting, the shed more packed than it has been in years. allow one empty block in the stand and a fair few on the inchicore end and 3200 odd is ridiculous. I went in at 7.30 and they did not check a single tcket under the archways, have both the stub and ticket in my pocket.

check out the video of the game on another thread to verify

Eh what?

Pats have problems with their ticketing no doubt. 4,000 seems about right.

Only saw a bit of Cork City v Pats on tv this morning & while could not see the main stand clearly enough I would guess attendance about 3000-3500.

Moving game forward a day must have knocked 1000-2000 off the total.

Interesting. Anyone else think that these live Setanta games are taking away from the attendances? We're in Derry monday week for a live game and again that night will take numbers off what the crowd would have been on the friday.

Why cant they show live games on the friday night?

Main stand just over half full. Playing on Thursday knocked a fair whack off the away crowd definitely. Lennox had a moan about it in the programme

Supposedly the crowd was just over 4,000 last night. People were dissapointed as they'd hope for 5,000+ anfter all the promotion.

Galway United v Derry City - official attentance 2580
City brought about 250 fans.

Our next home game is against UCD. This should bring another massive crowd to Terryland. It's not because De Students are such a big attraction either! Tickets for the Galway United V Sunderland game will go on sale at half time. There will be no other way of buying tickets for the Sunderland game which will take place on Aug 1st.

I kept the same thread on ILF for a while this season; it died in part because ILF went down for a couple of weeks, and I never bothered resurrecting it. Had attendances for about 60% of games, but basically Linfield and Glentoran were top half of eL Premier level, Portadown and one or two others were UCD/Longford sort of level and the rest were lower Division One level.

Guess between 2100-2500 at Bohs-UCD.
Wouldn't have put it that high, to be honest. About 1800 tops. Bohs end looked a lot emptier than usual when I wandered up that way.

I would agree with that observation, I think Linfield at the time where averaging around 2800 - 3000, cannot remember off hand.

By and large the LOI is a better supported league. Which I suppose is expected with a bigger populated country that our own, plus the general apathy shown towards IL.

At the moment IL football can only look in envy at the way things are developing down south, with different tv and sponsorship deals.

Although I think the IL is now starting to move in the right direction, in five years or so time, I would hope that our attendances will close the gap with the LOI. I mean that by our attendances rising rather than yours going down as I think it is great to see Irish teams North or South of the border make a small foot print in Europe and also command a support worth noting.
