i used to play all of my friendlies away for years, reason being your players get more experiance for an away international cup friendly
better long term plan then gaining the extra 3/4k you wud get from playing at home or whatevr

Actually home or away experience is the same provided your opponents are foreign.

I just put this guy up for sale, if any of you's fancy him. He's a good player for me but i've too many Inner Mids to train. He is a couple of weeks into Excellent PM training aswell so it'l be a good buy if you want him to get up to Formidable fairly soon. The Excellent Stamina is also a major plus !!!
He's up for 225,000. Even if you dont get him it'd be great if you would push others into raising their bids.

I'm after making a balls of this match. I assumed as long as I avoided defeat I could finish second so I put everything into defence. Crap!

Glad to see it's all coming together for De Town.

I won 5-1 away from home. 7 wins on the trot. Should be good enough for 2n place again. Saving cash for end of season splurge on forward.

Looks like I'm going to end up 3rd or 4th this season barring a miracle. 1.37m Euro in the bank account and rising though. Over 5,000 interest a week. Plus I haven't had to sell any trainees. Reason I am slipping behind in my league is that my rivals have sold their trainees and blown their cash on the rest of their team. I'll get one over on them in the long run.

Do any of you's do better against the weak teams in your league, when you PIC the game. I win about 7/8 - 0 when i PIC but if i left it normal then it'd be about 5-0.

Nobody bought that player i put up last week, was he too pricey for ya

Hows everybodys games gonna go tomorrow? I should win, but I'm playing my 2nd team, which should still be capable of winning. Want to play my first team in the friendly on Wednesday becasue I'm playing a good mate and I really want to beat him!

Im playing the team in second! If I win then it looks like I will come second in the league at the end of the season! If I lose, theres a good chance Ill come fourth! :o Threw away a 3 nil lead against him earlier in the season to draw 3-3!

I'm drawing 0-0 with the top side in my league. 3rd placed team is about to move ahead of me as he'll draw level on points and has better goal difference. That's if I don't lose. Full house today, 35k crowd, 252k gate receipt and 1.6m Euro bank account.

What's his secondaries? It's a case of right thing at the wrong time. He'd have been great to pull in the first week. Still a grand youth pull but not much time left to take advantage of his age being 17 with fast training.

My YS has been solid for ages now and the best I've gotten is an 18 y/o passable. 9/10 my youth pulls are so crap I have to fire them.

pete

Secondaries poor enough, i'd guess 1.5 stars for midweek friendly.
I think Playmaking is best area to training as good for all midfielders & forwards too.

I havent been on here in a while myself. Normally i get mails to say people are posting.

I finished 3rd in my league this season again as predicted right from the start. I have about €950,000 in the bank to buy a few close season players. I'll say i'll give it a good go next season, but i'll probably get lazy again and not do much with my team and finish third again.

Are your ready for our friendly De Town. What sorta team will you have out ?

pete

I lost 2-4 in league for first time in 8 games.

Bought Formidable 18 year old forward for 700k. Will probably sell numerous older players in close season.

Yeah 8-1, that wasnt my strongest team either so he'd want it to be his weaker one aswell. Its a rematch down in his place next week.
What leagues are you's in ? I'm in the 4th division but it looks like a huge jump to the 3rd division in standard(i mean at least all excellent). Hopefully i'll be at least that next season.

It does take a few days to get a team even though your registered for one. They are deciding which league to put you in probably.

Best piece of advice is read the rules and use the conferences, as you can get very helpfull information on there. Do you have a team yet.

How does one join the league that foot ie members are in. My team isnt that great yet so would be afraid that i would get slaughtered.
My team is Gort United and im in IV46 league. Big match coming up on sunday and if i win i finish third. Still have a long way to go.

I need a friendly this week Rebel City (73508) if any takers.

I finished 2nd again for 2nd year running. Highlight of season was getting to 5th round of the Cup but losing in extra time.

I've started my clean out of 1st team & squad veterans. Selling Excellent 29 year old midfielder for 300k & should be able to pick up young equivalent for a little bit more cash & traing to formidable next season.

Anyone else changing squad in the close season.

****e season after a promising start
expected to finish 1st after many ,many seasons in 2nd place in div3
finished 3rd in the end

new training plan and clear out of old stars to lower a crippling wage bill took its toll i guess (player on 250k a week is a killer)

I've had 1 support leave for lasdt 2 weeks which is first time has happened. Won & on the trot only to lose last 2 of the season. I didn also sell a key player but bought better younger one. I've never seen moral drop so quickly.

I had 1.2m but had 1.5m spending spree as sold players for about 500k. Will have changed 5 players in starting XI from last season. New players better skills but younger so could take some time to improve.

I think my starting team will be something like this now.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent, Excellent, Excellent
-----------Formidable, Excellent
