That's harsh Town but he is miles ahead of you in the league. 1-1 isn't too bad for me, it keeps that team almost impossible to catch me. However it killed any small ambition I had to take top. I am 5 points off the top. I play the leader away in 2 weeks. So I can PIC the next game then another MOTS.
Lost 3-0 & down to 2nd place in league for first time this season. 55.000 crowd when all other clubs including myself got less than 20k capcities.
Need 3-3.5 star winger.

Definately. Last year my crowds were crap as I started off near the bottom, lost four games in a row in the middle of the season to the top two teams, lost fans and only scraped 3rd place at the end of the season. This season I've been in the top two all season and breached the 1000 fans mark so I am filling my 25k stadium against top teams. I have two home games left against the two bottom teams this season so this will be an indicator of what my worst possible crowds are. I reckon I'll increase it to 35 or 40k. You just wish you were in the game one season earlier as they're already dead expensive and they're gonna get far worse next season.

Made a couple of signings. Snapped them out of other teams grasps in the last few minutes before the deadline also. Delighted :)

Yeah i did a bit of stadium building myself the other week. I'm up to 22,500 or so now. Dont know if i'll fill it though. cause i've only 1,050 supporters club. Hopfully i will. It is very expensive to expand the stadium even at the moment, so i might try expanding again before the deadline cause after that it'l be pure hell trying to budget to afford it.
Does anybody have big income coming in for the finance part of your economy. I have Spokepersons getting me a good bit through sponsors, i think its economists that reflect on your finances but i dont know if they can create huge income by employing about 7/8 of them. Any views ??

Welome !!
I dont think there is anything, that can be done immediatly cause you've only got your team but pick out a formation that you wish to play for the season or so and then try buy cheap trainees, 17 year olds preferably so you can choose the right training type and train them up and if needed then sell one or two off for huge money and buy decent players for other positions. You'll probably have to wait till next season to get settled enough to challenge for promotion or so. You need patience for this game.
Best of luck anyway. :ball:

Well Schumi you got a bit of a rough deal, you got put in the bottom division and one with a few human players it seems. Most of us get put in Series IV. However nevermind.
Ok hattrick works like this to make huge amounts of money you train players up and sell them. To train a player you select a skill to train and simply select a player in the position of the skill that is being trained. Training is updated once a week (Friday) so any player who has played once or twice in the trained position in the last week receives training. It doesn't matter if you play once or twice you get the same amount. So to maximise this effect you should play a friendly every single week to double the amount of players you can train. The more players you train the more money you will make. Also the younger a player is the faster he trains (17 being the youngest possible age). So the idea is, say you train defending then you will buy a bunch of young defenders train them over a few seasons and make a huge profit. Also the
better the coach the faster they train.
Now to get a hang of the team selection it roughly goes like this.
GK: Only relevant stat is goalkeeping.
CD: Only relevant stat is defending
WB: Relevant stats are defending and winger, winger less important than defending
Central Mid: Most important stats is playmaking, closely followed by stamina and secondarily passing and defending
Winger: Most important stat is winger, followed by stamina, then followed by playmaking and passing
Striker: Most important stat is shooting, followed by passing
If I were you I'd buy no players for a couple of weeks at least until you figure out how to select a team and how to get a proper training regime going

Use the info provided by others here or use that info website. Write down the nesessary skills for each position in team (use 4-4-2 formation for now). Now go through your squad & list down the best 4-5 players in each position, Pick your best team for next game & see how they perform. Now can decide the weak positions, formation to continue etc...

Next week I play the top team away. He'll probably blow me away. But if I somehow manage to beat him he has a game against the true best team in the league on the last day. Should be an interesting week for me next week. Sounds like a rough week for you lads. Sorry.

Go to your team page on the menu on the left of the screen. It will have C.F. Shelbourne in big writing at the top and it will have a little bit of info about your team, e.g. location, stadium. at the bottom of the info, it will say series, click on that and your table will come up :)

They are different levels. I think they go from Very Low-Low-High-Very High. and then after you get very high it turns up a level ie wretched - poor.

Looking at this Schumi, you will need to sort your midfield out. Mine was disastrous (very high) there a few weeks ago and was getting beaten 6-0 or 7-0. I have brought it down a bit over the last few weeks, and I'm not getting beaten by as much these days :D
If your going to train Playmaking, buy young inner mids, 17-19 year olds, train them up and sell them off. If your gonna train something else, buy inner mids with inad/pass PM and inad/pass stamina. I have an 18 y/o PM on the list at the moment for nothing but he has very bad stamina but thats trainable.
I just bought a PM today. Solid PM and Solid Stamina, 25 y/o :D
