Might actually field a strong side it's during a 10 day break from competitive fixtures.

Ok, I'll ask it another way - anyone hear Elding wants out?

Naw, everyone has plenty money down here.
Why do you ask ?
Are ye stuck for a few bob ?

It actually says most about Croly to be honest. Limited and all as Oman can be, he is less of a liability than Foran.
Foran came in when Oman was chronically knacked for about half the season and never really got going again. I'm all for criticising Croly, but Foran was actually better than Oman last year, although you'd assume Oman will be better once he has a full pre-season.

In fairness to disgruntled, Dong, I mentioned money. My first question was if there were money problems down there as I had heard something about Elding not getting what he was promised in contract and when I didn't get an anawer, I brought him into it.

Gives his all every time he plays. Pace isn't what it once was but a top professional who everyone connected with the club will miss. Great with the younger members of the squad too, a real leader on the pitch. Can play right back or centre midfield. If I was Mathews I would have signed him up and made him captain

He was never quick in fairness. Better at right back than centre midfield. Mathews signed him for us in 2007 but never really rated him too highly as far as I can recall. Maybe he got a better offer from Drogs too.

I don't expect he'll be signing for us, we don't need another central midfielder for starters. Just wondering.

He is training with us at the moment so hopefully something is tied soon. With us since 17 though so compensation doesn't give him much options.

The LOI Blog tweeted "Late news from Finn Harps. Sources are coming through that Carol Tiofack has signed from Limerick on a one year deal at Finn Park."

What do Limerick fans make of this? Nothing confirmed by the club so just rumour as of yet.

A few of the limerick players were congratulating him on twitter yesterday so that's probably where they got it from.

Decent player, should do well in the first division. He played our last 5 or 6 games and done well but not enough for a renewal of a contract it seems. Nice lad who will work hard from what I've seen. He is very quick and has a decent touch.

Longfordian

He'd been in touch with us looking for a trial. Don't know if he went up for training or anything but he's obviously taken an offer off Harps.

How many players go from the first division over to England?

Seani Maguire and Aaron McCarey are 2 I can think of off the top of my head, has there been many more?

Lovely fella ad had worker but tbh for me he was one of the first I wanted to be let go did very little in games. Dropping down the league may help him though. Hope he does well.

You should probably take some of that steel and use it to shore up the club, given the way they have of folding like wet cardboard every few years down there.

Only have to offer the same or improved as his previous contract to stop a player being allowed to just walk. If no one is willing to pay compensation I think his only other option than us is junior soccer.

Toland?! Hah! That's funny...he wasn't good enough for Harps. Never made the grade at all. One of those players I wasn't in the slightest bit disappointed to see let go by Horgan.

McCaffrey came in during the summer to us but made very little impression really. He was never going to shift Towell and O'Donnell but when he did play he didn't really do much. I'd be a bit concerned if that is type of players that Derry are looking at.
