Athlone Town vs Waterford United Official attendance 362
After tonights performance we will be lucky if we have the 62 next week against Wexford Youths
Ye started the season so well Battery, hows it gone so downhill since then?

Terrible crowd against Cork, probably worst of the season.
Early kick off and a complete indifference to the setanta cup by staff and fans alike must have contributed to the crowd.
Id say 1000 at best.

I know you say it's the lowes of the season, but if season-tickets were not valid then if may have but a very good day for the club's coffers.

Very true, 1000 paying €15/€20 wouldnt be bad.

Add to this we have a home game against Shams at the weekend. This would mean 3 home games inside a week which people cant afford at the moment.

Even if you stretched things a bit and included the Civil Defence & Stewards, you would have been pushing it to reach 200 at Santry last night - never mind 323:(

I was surprised at how many there was there, I thought 323 was about right. And it's nice that they let three adults in on one of those €20 family tickets.

Rovers have as of yesterday afternoon totally sold out of home tkts and Bohs I am sure will manage to sell the 500 tickets allocated to them.

I would have said 2,700 or 2,800 about 2,200 of us but they deffo shams had more than 400, would have guessed around 600 down, biggest away support seen in the showgrounds for a league match in a long long time fair play.

That was the biggest away support from Shams I ever seen. There wasn't 600 though. They had just under half the Jinks Avenue stand and that fits 900 plus there was a few along the wall beside it. About 450 in total and around 2,500 all together.
