You can just add ours from now til the end of the season as 5000. Thanks.

That's a bit harsh Tom, I mean Micls.

Surely you'd average more than 1,000 per game.....? ;)

Not sure if both clubs will still be around by then.

That's 5595 Cork need at the remaining 5 games to fulfil TNB's master plan.

Tricky.

Limerick vs Mervue was either 264 or 45,000, I can't remember which was called out.

1,844 Derry V Dundalk.

Very good atmosphere from both sets of fans as well.

Dundalk had about 120.

I dunno how many there was, but I was 10 mins late and the walk from the Square was strewn with lads/boys with Rovers shirts scarves on turned away and walking back to the bus stops, so there was a fair few..

5,432 quoted by official on Rovers forum with about one hundred+ people who turned up with ten minutes to go turned away.

Bit harsh to be turning people away with 300 empty seats?

Although I assume they were season ticket holders who didn't turn up rather than Rovers trying to start a "You only really want what you can't have" marketing campaign?

The two ends of the new stand are not open yet because it's still officially a building site and not passed by health and safety yet but they were forced to open one end last night due to serious overcrowding. Doubt the health and safety officer in SDCC was impressed :D

More or less the same as the first home game?

I have my doubts over that. Was thinking 400 or so myself. A lot more space at the end than the previous time.

623 for our game against UCD

How many of these actually paid in?

How many were guests or on freebies?

How many did UCD bring?

How many bodies are calculated for every family ticket sold?
Any time I've gone there, I buy a family ticket for just myself and the missus - the ticket collector never notes how many go in on each ticket.

At FP they use clickers to mark the amount of people going through each gate.

You get a discount of €4 and you still give out
Why do you never ask anyone from other clubs them questions?
Why be so concerned?
I would say there was about 10 or so from ucd going by cheers when they were attacking.

Because the other clubs are real clubs.

Your franchise has no history, roots or genesis in football.

Your attendances - just like your 'club' - are manufactured.

Hey folks, lay off fingal. Why is everyone so bloody jealous of them? They are a new club and sure you have to start somewhere and build which they seem to be doing pretty well. Just because they have a few good sponsors to get them off the ground... i for one hope they win the league and move into the premier. Every club bar one in the premier is in the ****, we need fingal to progress rather than falll away as i believe they are building a good model for other clubs.

That's true, a good few UCD bailed out before the end. Over six hundred at the game, unofficial count in the second half.

Are we counting your half-time teams who were cheering for us? :p

(For the record though, there were more than that, but still fewer than the previous game, and many regulars skipped it, including one who ended up missing the thing he skipped it for...)

No it wasn't. Less than half full in the two blocks down the far end where I was. And also, I'd be curious as to when Harpo made his unofficial count.

That said, the issue of the family tickets is one you haven't addressed, bar to say it's a poor attempt at WUMming. I'd like to think foot.ie can foster more intelligent debate than that.

I didnt mention wumming. Try reading who said what. I kept my comment short so i wouldnt get into another stupid debate with you because you have a certain agenda when it comes to our club. The crowd was 40 to 50 down on what it was last time so maybe thats why there was less your side. I was up the other end which was quite packed. There was also 30 to 40 down at the railings and to the side. I know my stadium at this point and i can tell within reason what size the crowd was. I know what 400 looks like in morton and that wasnt 400.

Now can we stop this. Its getting really boring debating this every time we post our attendances.

It has already been mentioned in this thread if you bothered to read it.
What you have constantly failed to understand or you do but chose to ignore it for the purpose of wumming is that a clicker system is used to record everyone who passes the barriers .
Now it is more than likely that you will still post the same things in the coming weeks regarding our attendances so please copy this for future reading before you post the same nonsense again.

Its priceless , ucd fans arguing about the crowd size :D

Whats posted on here is the official attendance figures by us and not guesstimates like some others.

Whatever UCD fans was there were very quiet i must say.

Yes it was. Do you see what you get me into:D

Your point was still true though, it was wumming and the question about family tickets has been answered by me and others a thousand times on this and other sites, so you will forgive a fingal fan if he doesnt want to keep repeating what has been said before. From what i have been told we dont count stubs we use clickers. please dont come back in saying thats not true because i have had this debate before and i wont have it again.

Edit

Yeah really love how we are targeted about our attendances but the thread uses fans guesstimates. I know most of the fans try to give an honest guess but accurate it aint and would probably air on the side of more fans than less.

That is one of the most stupid, over the top statements I ever read - true genius ! the idea of Nutsey, Mickey boy and all in the Prem living in fear of Sporting franchise is pure classic (even the use of "hate"- brilliant stuff):)

Confusing the old regime with the new are you? Since the new board took over post Ollie we've been attempting to clear the debts of the previous board and attempting to live within our means by paying sensible wages and covering any gaps in the budget with extensive fund raising. Your model is crap crowds, massive wages, sustained lack of success and sugar daddyness. And no sign of it changing if you do get into the PD.
