The away section is in the terrace. Who wants to sit at an away football match? And in case you haven't noticed, the stand is pretty big, there was plenty of other seats around, considering ye brought nearly no one to the game and your challenging for the title!
if away section in terrace then why sign in the right side of main stand saying away section (not the point anyway). When was the last time you where in the main stand as most of it covered in bird sh1t hard enough if you wish to sit to find a good few seats together. Dont get me wrong I like Flancare Park but the seats in main stand do need a clean.

There was basically nobody on 3 sides of the ground and the stand wasn't full. There may have been 400 odd people in your pub I suppose.
There rarely is anyone on the other sides of the ground as behind the goals on one side is the carpark, and there is no cover on the other sides either so it is usually just the one side.
As for the stand, it wasnt full but it wasnt far from it. I would say closer to 550 in it and then there were quite a few up at clubhouse end and along the walls.

Well it might does have a sign there actually:( but there is an away supporters entrance and barriers up for segregation in the terrace, but due to everyone complainig they probably just let people in the stand now except for teams with proper away support! Yes, they do, but theirs a hell of a lot that don't either!

Is the substitute board not for the match officials to sort? Genuine question btw I don't know.
It is up to the club to make sure the electronic board they have is charged and in working order

It should be the club's responsibility Ronnie. Class rant by the way. It made my day :D Priceless
I was so proud of the way ronnie charged down the terraces and throwing his programme at the side of the pitch and roaring at the top of his voice! it was priceless!!:D

Yes I was saying to a Limerick fan that there were 550 approx in the stand and more around the ground that brought the figure to 832 official figure.
But I thought you were referring to Ronnie who was talking about Longford figures as if you read further back I said that there was only about 30-40 from Limerick.

So what your saying is that ye actually got that much at a Monaghan home game that didnt involve a Premier Division side!

There's two conversations going on that got crossed.
Magicme was putting Sadloserkid right on the Monaghan-Limerick attendance of 832, saying there was around 550 in the stand alone.
Partizan was saying there was 200 at Longford-Waterford, Keen2win said more like 300-400 (not a hope in hell by the way, Partizan is spot on), then Ronnie misread Magicme's post and said "From starting with 200 to now 550, looks like the best crowd of the season so far and growing!"
All the subsequent confusion stemmed from that.
Bar your little snipe at the end B&W, despite your 'shock' they obviously did get that amount there.

Yup. Hopefully it is the turning of the tide and not a once off. We are hoping that those who were there enjoyed the game and the fact that we won and will make it a regular thing, even if half of them do it will be a big improvement!

1200 oh that should fund there new stadium. are they still working on it or whats the story with it ?
Various papers reported all sorts of figures but it was around 1500.
As for the new stadium we're waiting for grant money to be released to the contractor. Once that happens progress should be relatively rapid. How the stadium is related to last night's game is beyond me though.

See what happens to the kids of Monaghan when they are influenced by your Dublin players! :(
No wonder they can only afford cheap tracksuits when they have their own brass bands.
No self respecting Monaghan youngster would be seen dead without their own personal musical retinue.

As predicted, the Irish public has no interest in a unglamorous country team like Ipswich.
Keane or no keane, that was always going to be the case.

Admittedly not excellent but it was three times their average attendance for a preseason, mid-week freindly. I'm sure Derry would be happy with 9,000 for the same fixture!
We're virtually sold out down here, 3000 tickets, the last of which will be gone by midweek as Ipswich's untaken allocation go on general sale.

You're missing the point.
Ipswich are supposed to be instantly popular the length and breadth of Ireland because of who their new manager is. They're not.
No matter which way you look at it 1,500 is a very poor attendance for that game. Comparing it to their current attendances is meaningless. Harps get 3 times the Ipswich attendance when they play Derry City FFS.
Hopefully the Irish media will get the message and relegate Ipswich to passing mentions in the media, rather than the fawning hysteria they tried to create over Plunderland.

I'd say about 2300 in the carlisle tonight, about 1300 rovers and a 1000 bray.
A good game and with a section of the wall collapsing when rovers scored the 2nd, injuring a few fans. Not nice to see at all, the game was delayed about half hour from this, the ground is in ruins, so far the lights have failed, the P.A. system has failed and now the wall has collapsed, and im sure alot of the perimeter wall is as dangerous as well.

It was 4600 I believe. And anyway we were never going to keep that kind of crowd coming along to every game tbf. Still I'm happy enough with our crowds. Oriel should be packed for the visit of the filth in two weeks.

I think overall attendances are still very poor around the league, its a real shame as the quality is there, it would be great if the top clubs could attract on avg 5k per week instead of just for the odd game, but there`s no chance of that.
