This division is very stop start no doubt. You just have to try keep the lads intrested and get as many training as possible. It isn't easy, but it's essential to any team wanting to win promotion.

All joking aside it's a huge task for ye. I've seen ye this season and while ye are a good 1b side and won't be a pushover, they are superb at their best and if they score early it could be very tough for ye. But all ye can do is have a go. I'd wish ye luck but I'd never do that against my own club!!

Cheers lad we will enjoy the day and w will give it a lash...i look frward to seeing yer a team in action.....
hey spudd any truth in the rumour that park/newtown won't be able to change their name next year..
i heard that the rules state if park/newtown want to change their name they will have to apply to play in nearest league which is clare league..
would be a shame considering all the hard work gone in the getting the teams merged in the first place...
I couldnt tell you, havent heard anything about this but i really doubt they will make there way back to that league, personally i think theres always ways around these situations.

Best players played against in this league so far this season(it's only 5 games but I'm bored)
5: Jeff Mc, (Cals)
4: Big Midfielder, (young not old) (Coonagh)
3: Cals Midfield NBA players!! (Huge)
2: Deep lying centre forward (Coonagh) (not Yogi)
1: Paul Scholes (Park)
Scholesy there is the best player in the league by a proverbial mile:D

this division is turnin into a bit of a farce imo, nothin to do wit the players or teams in it,but the fact you can go two to three weeks consistently without a game is nothin short than a shambles, for example,we had no game last sunday, view that is, no game this sunday, and fai is the followin sunday so we'l have no game again, this leagues going to go down to a sprint finish come april and may next year, its a joke.
you played last sunday but i agree.Teams struggling to get players next year and a mountain of games to play.Thats why its much too early to say who's going to go up i think.

Absolute crap...!!! There are so many better players than that guy...Have seen Park play a few times and he is handy, but does not dominate a game....
Hes only a young lad and will probably get better but so many players that would be ahead of him...
Reckon all matches off again this weekend due to this ****e weather...

The problem is though will we be allowed to call them off on Saturday or have to show up on Sunday morning again for no reason. I cant see Coonagh being playable again and Murroe may have to travel all the way in.

Lads can I suggest you take it to pm's. I really don't want this thread to go the way of previous ones. At the end of the day it's not worth the trouble. Thanks

I'll just give our team as an example: Keeper going away for weekend, two of our back four going to England aswell as one midfielder. I myself am working Monday. And another defender is away on a stag. So that's 6 at least of our first 11 unavailable for Monday. Not to mention one of lads 21st Sat night..
Guess that's why!!! ;)
But I'm sure Clare lads have lives too!!!!

Ya I'll probably venture in for a look. Will be intresting to see how big the gap is between potential champions of Premier and 1B.

What ever about the pitch they will have to repair the nets from our fierce shots and the ball hitting the back of the net......ha ha ..... but seriously I dont think the game will go ahead lads as if you put 22 men on the field with the weather we are having sorry but old trafford would be cut up and take a long time to recover..,.what do ye think?

all games should be called off, weather is dire

Looks like they wont do that though. When we advised the LDMC on Saturday that our pitch was unplayable we were told they would contact Murroe to check on their pitch as they were now behind in their schedule. Yet, we have had two weekends free recently when matches could have been played and there was a very short list of fixtures throughout the leagues. Makes no sense.
this is the LDMC we're talking about larry
not much makes sense
