caherdavin had around 20 training last night alot of youngsters on the team there only short 2 or 3 more experienced players and they'll have a good team. heard keith o donnell is going to try to get thomas heir to sign would be a massive plus to our back line (watch this space)

Ha ha.... Ya I think it's the highlight of the weekend. Everyone knows who I am, but Spudd is a mystery. I'll have to kick every one of them to make sure I get the right guy. Now that'll be hard!!! :D
No seriously though, it will be a tough opener, but if we can beat Park in first game it will give us a massive confidence boost and hopefully get us off to a flyer.
All I know is I'm counting the seconds!!

Bubbles has retired,Daithi won't be available as much due to A team commitments,we have a few new faces this year,some with premier experience and on the right side of 30

Just thinking here that the only player with Park that dictates the play in any way is the little centre mid, who holds onto the ball for too long. Name has slipped my mind but could this be you Spudd????

If you get in hard with macky he gives it back,hes not going to pick up his football and go home,1 of the more experienced lads and helped the younger lads gel in well last year,to say he doesnt want to know rest of game is just childish on your behalf git.

must be watching differnt games then .. even played against macky a long while back up on your pitches .. tommy lynch was your manager then and mackay played outside right against me and i was well past it by then only togged out as team was short.. he definatly does not like the physical side of the game :D:D

i'm from a different era to you spudd ... no problems with step overs and if you take their ankles of you probley got away with it a bit more when i played .. you just had to get up and get on with it and give it back .. :D if it is bad tackle / foul i would have no problem with ref giving yellow or red card .. would be totally against dirty play but nothing wrong with a good ould bone cruncher of a tackle either to sort out your opponent . still have a few scars to prove it :(

decent games in bad conditions,both teams were short regulars,Boro had a couple of U17's playing(who played very well)few new faces and even some old ones,Balla short 5-6.
Thomas McInerney with a well taken hat trick and some Polish guy who's name i can't pronounce never mind spell for the Boro,not bad for our first game

We won 4-1,wasnt a great game due to the weather,We have 20 players signed alot of new signings also and still waiting on 4 or 5 park regulars from last year to come back from holidays and sign,but they have given there word there are signing,so looks pretty good,squad of about 25 players.

Dermots on holidays,so andy o mahony took charge lastnight.

J.o donneell,bj cantillon,pa devanny,G.Quirke,F.neville,S.mcdonald,J.egan,D.ega n.A.casey,A.fitz,P.butler,Lloyd from newmarket,P.cannavan,G.o donnell.S.walton.

These were all players involved lastnight,rotated every 15 mins to keep everyone happy.

Balla were missing 11 players only 3 who started the cup final played last nite..not taking anything away from boro took their goals very well and moved the ball about quite well..the weather was awfull which reduced the game to 70min which was a pity but fair play to the boro for letting the game go ahead on their main pitch it held up very well and not many teams would have allowed that

good game given the conditions,boro i thought were good,they should do well in the league this year,we were missing a fair few but great to get games rather than having to train:D:D

Correct,everyone has there own opinion,cant argue with that,bloody hell there is an obsession on foot about Mr.finnan,In your opinion how is he a legend,dont be afraid to talk your opinion,sure every1 is entitled to one.;)

We play Hill Celtic this Thursday. All with an intrest in 1b are welcome at Pike field, and opinions on the New Pike B are very welcome. I heard Hill Celtic have lost a few, but with Skinner in charge they should attract a few young local lads to the team.
