Massive weekend in divison 2. Los Zarcos at home to boscos today. A win would put boscos in a great position as they already have the points on the board. Bweeng at home to grattan tomorrow. A win for either side puts them right in the league with a chance and a loss probably takes them out of the race.

I have never ever been aware of any club who has had 4 appeals (just for league games) sent to the AUL within a season, ever.

Aul making up the rules again no wonder so many teams or driving on to Senior league how can appeals be pending most of the games were played over two weeks ago you have 4 days to appeal so if don’t appeal in 4 days nothing can be done go back to start of season Catherdal played illegal player two games in a row knocked greenwood out of cup greenwood appealed when they found out aul told um they were to later then they played illegal player againn knocka and Aul told knocka they don’t get points cause they never sent letter to Catherdal telling um they were appealing the game point I’m making if teams play illegal player and Aul or aware which they were well aware of theses situations the points should automatically go to other team they should be know come to turners cross and explain your case pack of Dinosaurs running Aul it will only get worse next few years

Castleview champions , great season, got a lot of stick on this this season , wrote off before the season started , if they add 2/3 can see them being strong force in the premier next season

Los Zarcos beat a depleted Boscos side easily.
Fair play to Los Zarcos think only tough game they have left is Bweeng at home but can't see them dropping the ball

And lads on here a few weeks ago giving about, when Los Zarcos tried to move a fixture vs Knocka to earlier kick off of time by 2 hours and done via the correct procedures.
You could only laugh!!!
A Knocka player was quoted as saying a few weeks back “ we don’t care about the league as we won’t be here as a club next season, just concentrating on the cups”
That quote seems to back up what has gone on in the last few weeks.

Pity if they go. Be like when Blarney Street came back. Those players to filter around Castleview / Grattan?

There at the end of there sell by date. Stories in pubs will be all they pass on .
No one will care if I'm honest , harsh but true.
Castleview is a Senior club , be a different club next season . None of this seasons carry on.
Senior team first , end of. Class club.
Knocka , are Knocka.
It's fun while it lasts.

Let's be honest that won't happen @ Play it out.
Knocknaheeney tends to keep it's best players up in Knocka,,,,,,Grattan will only grow.
Castelview are in transition , new incoming senior managment won't allow the juniors to be as strong as the seniors . There not goin to allow that, there a senior club , not a junior club.
Grattan are on the edge,,,,,,,,,senior is calling,,,,,Coachford are in the same boat,,,,,,Springfield an Corkbeg ,,,,,,let's just enjoy what's left

Still up the the players themselves who they want to play with , some can’t commit senior so they play junior instead , club can’t make fellas play senior if they rather play junior

Coachford, God forbid them going senior. They won't. They know they will be a nobody there. Imagine fixtures not manipulated. GAA players not involved til Championship is done. Non railed pitches. Not a chance. They'll stay, not progress the club. Fair play to all who went before. Their despicable chairman and others can glory in their teams success.

Do Grattan have the underage structure in place ? Is that one of the requirements for MSL entry ?
No disrespect to them (Hope to see them win the Prem this year) but I think even there first team would struggle in the MSL next season and there not getting any younger by all accounts.
While a fine side I think the game in the MSL is played a bit of a faster pace even at the lower divisions, if you look at some of the other good AUL teams that went up (Kinsale, Leeside & Wilton) all struggled with little success its a longterm thing really.
Are Grattan more likely to pickup silverware in the AUL ?

Grattan will pick up more silverware in AUL. MSL really is suited to the clubs with underage and long term thinking. I don't see why likes of Watergrasshill wouldn't push to go in next few years.

Castleview view have 2 strong junior teams . Might not effect the AUL team if they take from MSL team hood young side probably going win there league too.
Why would MSL want Grattan? They do t have the facilities
Coachford should have jumped probably have missed the boat.
Watergrasshill should move asap as they have a good youth teams coming in to back the side they have now ride the crest of the wave while they are on a high
AUL is a glorified pub league
CBL will rebrand again will become bigger then AUL in next few years

Boscos a Shock the other result wasn’t Mogeely had already got a point on their visit to the north side so at home would have been expecting at least a point at home.
Still all to play for.
Cathedral not dead and buried yet if Knocka don’t come back only 1 will go down

clubs should have proper dressing rooms + showers but a few of the newer additions dont (for senior anyway, not sure about junior)
greenwood might go junior if they move? pearse dropped down last summer.

Would them teams be cannon fodder if the went senior?
Likes of kilreen, pearse, innishvilla havent lasted senior but were very competitive aul.
Pearse now playing munster junior div 4 - it's about same standard standard as aul 2.
Buttevant went up a few years back also and are doing brutal, macroom not much better
Have seen a few of the so called senior teams in div 2 and standard is awful bar the top 2/3.
Casement, temple, ballinhassig all shocking and thats just to name a few

kanturk arent as bad as table suggests from what ive seen. should have a couple more draws against some of the bigger clubs. infairness to them they have a tiny pool of player too , goosed once the gaa starts aswell . kanturk definitely better than a lot of the others mentioned. 2nd division is shocking level really dont see why so many were added.
Is it true castleview full senior team are dropping down the aul the best part of them did last year but full team is I'm hearing

Grass is not always greener on the other side.
Yes better facilities etc.
But you are coming up against huge clubs and to be really competitive is next to impossible for some.
The AUL should be a very good option for some really well run clubs.
It needs tiding up better fixture management ( weather & refs a huge problem), increased awareness of big games, harder punishment for the carrying on likes of City Wanders this season, no shows like Knocka and Cathedral, the yo-yoing of clubs in and out of the league.
Whilst these mightn’t be easy fixes it’s vital if the league is the grow.

Well worth their win. I was chatting to Barry Peelo before the game and he said UCC were short a load because of exams. If that's the case could be a tough end to the season for them
